  • (2022-10-30) Perry Janssen: tldr: "Should I install?": Yes! So this extension does work sometimes or most times, depending on what you're searching. Only if the Wikipedia page already is one of the results of the first page in Google, it will be bumped up to the top. I checked the code of the extension and I'm pretty sure this is how it works. Also, Google results are always personalised for every user, and in my case, I don't get a Wikipedia page at the top when searching "Google" (like the screenshots of the extension suggests), so the same search can have different results depending on the user. But, I will definitely keep in installed! If it works some/most of the time, it's a nice addition to Chrome without affecting performance or safety (based on a quick check of the code). Just don't get your hopes up too much. This is one of those extensions that you should just install and forget about, making sure you won't feel annoyed when it doesn't work and won't notice anything when it does, as those can be the best tools in your life :)
  • (2022-10-26) L: exactly what I wanted. Whenever I google a certain word to know what it means, I don't have to add "wikipedia" at the end of my search; with this extension it just immediately shows me what I was looking for. 5/5 I recommend this extension. :)
  • (2021-10-12) lemongrasscap: personally i wish there was a version for the brave search engine/ other engines but other than that it works nicley.
  • (2021-09-12) Seth Lawson: This isn't quite the tool you want. It works in straight forward cases; if you google "ketone" you will not get some BS healthline article at the top but rather the wikipedia page for ketone. However it only seems to handle search terms that have exact matching wikipedia articles. If you search "is wine good for you", it doesn't pull up the "health effects of wine" article of wikipedia. If even one word is different, like if you search "health benefits of wine", you won't get the wiki article pulled up. I personally won't keep this extension but I think its a cool shot.
