• (2024-11-22) Nathan: I have used lastpass for 15 years. I used to use in my military career and when I got out and started my own business I would always recommend it to clients as well. Here lately they seem to be slipping and starting to me look into an alternative. get it together guys
• (2024-11-20) Metro: LastPass has started to not copy passwords. When searching for a password, then clicking on the icon and selecting "Copy Password" the dropdown menu does not close and the clipboard remains unchanged. After several trys, it finally works. Too frustrating. I'm about ready to switch to another password manager.
• (2024-11-17) Will: I used to love LastPass. Lately though with data breaches and the Edge addin breaking all the time having to be uninstall and reinstalled and rebooting the browser multiple times. I am getting sick of it. Might have to switch to Bitwarden.

It does not work well with Microsoft Authenticator and is having issues with both chrome and edge browsers.

Very unreliable with Yubikey authentication if multiple keys are registered. Tired of all the issues it generates for my clients and by extension me. So tired in fact that after testing myself, I'm moving all our clients to BitWarden. Bonus - BitWarden already supports Passkeys in app.
• (2024-10-23) Andrew: UPDATE -- STILL THE PROBLEM USING PASSWORDLESS WITH THE EDGE EXTENSION EXISTS. EITHER THE EXTENSION IS BROKEN OR THE INTERFACE WITH EDGE IS. FIX IT ALREADY. For several days now, when you use the extension with paswordless option enabled in Lastpass, it requires you to select "login with authenticator." When you do, it fires up authenticator on my phone, but eventually times out opening the vault. I have to close out of the tab and activate the extension a second time for everything to work right.

Windows & MS Edge, tried clearing cache, uninstalling & reinstalling extension, manually turning on permissions for clipboard. It seems I'm not the only one with this issue. Please fix.
• (2024-09-30) Michelle: Broken for about two weeks now; was (mostly) decent before but now it's just a pain. How long does it take to patch issues? Won't renew my subscription after this fiasco. No longer worth all the money to just have to manually manage it all anyway when I run >30 character alpha-numeric, special character randomized passwords that I have to put in along with the MFA dozens of times a day...

• (2024-09-16) Andrew: LastPass Microsoft Edge extension was working just fine before but now it is completely broken. It does not recognize Yubico Yubikey. I have spent a long time trying to toubleshoot and even installed the YuiKey Manager but it still does not work. This is not a hardware issue because when I use the LastPass MacOS application, it recognizes the Yubikey with no problem. LastPass should revert to the prior version until they can fix all the errors. Something in this new version is fundamentally broken.

Repeated prompts to authenticate or log back in even though I marked it as Trust for 30 days. LastPass support just sends me a canned troubleshooting instruction (6 different things). Doesnt help. • (2024-09-12) Adam: This review is for Microsoft Edge and Last Pass only. It works great on Chrome. I've been trying to use Edge more because Chrome is such a data hog. Last Pass is borderline dysfunctional on Edge. I'm almost ready to go back to Chrome, just because I need Last Pass. Please fix this immediately! My username and passwords aren't auto filling in on almost every website I visit on Edge.

• (2024-09-09) Agrawal,: I have been seeing login issues recently when I try to use the extension in MS Edge. It is a significant inconvenience. Additionally, there are issues with making automatic updates. When you change passwords, sometimes they will not save.

I am frustrated beyond measure and am actively looking for a new password manager. When I seek support, I get a response with 6 different things to try and all are technical beyond my understanding. I wish I could just get back to the way it was.

I can say that most of the functionality of this app has been taken over by the browser/OS. Unless they fix the issues with the program connecting, I don't see a way past 2 stars for them.

Now the chrome/edge extension (Version 4.130.2) sucks up 90% of my CPU. I'm exploring other options and will probably switch before my current subscription is up.
