- I've been using last pass for the last 2 years. Dealed with some challenges, accounts forgotten, recovery emails that were never delivered, the necessity of create aliases for my users. Now I'm dealing with the last: Plugin is getting frozen. Cannot load or save my credentials and its frustrating.

- I've used LastPass for around 20 years, but I'm increasingly frustrated by the plugin not working when I need it. It won't stay logged in and won't launch apps. The only thing I've been able to do is uninstall the plugin and reinstall. It will then work for a week or two, then stop again.

- Works for me FULLY. Today is 4/19/26 and I have literally no issues because I took the time to set it up. 3-star rating after thinking about this because tripling the cost within 2 years of purchasing the full version is inexcusable considering there are others who charge less with more features. LastPass added none, just price. Considering exporting database and using another Password Management extension given more features there and built into my AV program. Also, there are simply too many similar posts here though seemingly meant to deter you. One doesn't need forensic syllabic analysis or structural pattern/grammatical synch matching to reveal their suspicious origin. Thanks for reading my updated post. Expect others to post low and negative posts to follow over the next few days to negate my post. When you read reviews anywhere, note the sentence structure and manner in which it's posted "as of" now I do.

- As of 2026-04-17 still appears to be broken in Edge; won't autofill and drop-down box is a tiny white window. Can manually search Lastpass and copy/paste, but that's annoying.

- Like other reviewers, I am getting a white box when clicking the icon in the browser, and clicking on the icon on any boxes nothing happens. Going to manage extension goes to a white page. As of 04/16/26

- It's broken ... but is theirs the paid version or not? When you log out of a website use the site's logoff/logout button, works for me every time. It does not automatically login when I start Edge which is perfect because I don't want it automatically logged - I'd rather that be a conscious and deliberate action. Works with every Chrome based browser I use *even* Brave. Never stalls out for me but I'm going to divulge, I tweak the snot out of my setup. Some sites auto login and auto send the password but those are MY choice. It does exactly what it's supposed to in its own manner assuming you take the time to set it up properly (which gets old quickly). I don't care for it went from $12 a year to $36 in two years' time after I got it; oh, I use the fully paid for and registered version if that makes a performance difference. Used Keepsafe in the past and still do for some things. It's all in how you handle it I guess, or maybe not but it works for me. Thanks for reading my post.

- Extension no longer works in MS Edge or Chrome. Logins will populate but passwords do not, nor can you open up the extension to view, as other users have stated, it stalls out with a white box. Reviewed on 4/15/2026

- I have used this extension on all my devices for most of a decade, but am about to delete it for one reason - This supposed security add-on does NOT log out when all Edge windows closed no matter how many times that option is selected. This makes the app absolutely useless and a security threat, not an asset. So anyone who obtain access to my devices does not have to log in or use a biometic login. All they have to do is open Edge browser and they have access to every password I've ever used. Deleting and moving all passwords to Nord.

- The extension is garbage and so is the support! Most of the time this app is sloooow it doesnt work. It never autofills anymore. I cant even copy passwords I have to reveal it then copy. NO SUPPORT!

- I have used it for years as well and I have tried many others, but this works well on both laptop and iPhone. I do recall for a little bit there were some bugs, but I feel that they have fixed most of the bugs that I noticed months ago. I feel it is the best out there for ease of use and complying with Security Standards.

- I've had Last Pass for years. I've been a premium member, and I've used the free edition. Both work great! Keeps track of passwords, secure notes, backup phrases, even works as a password generator. People use it for 5 seconds, can't figure it out, then leave a 1-star review because the app didn't achieve their hopes and dreams for them. I highly recommend!

- It appears to me that the connection between the LastPass app for my desktop and the LastPass extension is fragile. I cannot get the desktop app to fill in my credentials on a new login attempt, and the extension will not allow me to access the credentials for the website. It's a mess!

- Lastpass seems solid, but this extension is the pits. 2-3 times a day I have to reinstall. And recently the 30 day trust stopped working too. It's too much work.

- Used to be good. I am currently researching alternatives. I have it set to turn off after 10 minutes inactivity but it stays on indefinitely, this is a huge security risk and a google search will show this is a very common issue. I am also consistently resetting it so it offer a password.

- I faced the same issues as others who are leaving reviews. While not happy with the product right now, this seems to be a windows update issue. I repeatedly removed the extension, cleared cache. That did nothing to help. Ran Disk Clean and made sure Temporary files was selected. Seems to have fixed the issue...for now.

- Have to reinstall the extension every couple of weeks because it just stops remembering my credentials. Then, all of a sudden, it decides to stop accepting my YubiKey which literally never changes and stays in my computer. For how important this extension should be, it is absolutely the worst piece of garbage ever coded - and that includes E.T. for the Atari 2600 and Superman 64.

- Seit einigen Wochen/Monaten ist die Erweiterung für Edge nahezu unbrauchbar geworden: Ständiges Einloggen mit teilweise etlichen Passworteingaben notwendig, Vault kann nicht geöffnet werden, Passwörter werden nicht gefunden. 1Password wird sobald wie möglich meine erste Wahl sein.

- I was a big fan of LastPass but it has stopped working on Edge. It works for a day or two and then stops working entirely. You can keep deleting and re-installing it every few days but obviously this is not sustainable. It will be a massive chore to port over to a different password manager but LP cannot be used.

- Hatten auch bischen Schwierigkeiten zu verstehen wie dieser Password Manager Arbeitet. Natürlich möchte Win 11 und Google usw. das man ihre Password Manager verwendet. Bei uns sind alle Weiterungen einwandfrei vorhanden. Auf jeder Browser Win 11, Google, Firestone, dann Seite von LastPass benutzen extra herunter geladen und mit dem jeweiligen Zugangsdaten und Passwort Für Win 11 und Google, usw. benutzen. und das für jedes Gerät wo LastPass installiert wird. Wir kommen damit Gut zurecht und ganze Familie ist von dem Password LastPass Manager äußerst zufrieden. Wir verwenden LastPass im Home Office dabei leistet er gute Dienste, gerne 5 Sterne ist er wert. Warum von wenigen Nutzern LastPass so schlecht bewertet wird verstehen wir nicht. nur auf Smartphone verwenden wir keinen Password Manager.

- Installed Edge extension and attempted to open my vault. It accepted my username and password and prompted me for my MFA code. I entered the code, and the extension went back to the login prompt. Did this again, and the same thing happened. I won't be using this worthless extension again.

- The company I work for JUST started using LastPass and already we're having problems with LastPass not working in Edge. As many others have already said, it requires removing and re-adding the extension to get it going again.

- In general, it works fine most of the time, but then once in a while, it will not save my password causing issues. This causes issues with my staff that use it. Any barrier to password management increases the risk of staff not using the system or using hackable passwords.

- I've been using LastPass for years because of its portability. Over the past year, it has demanded email verification almost every time I log in, even though every device I've logged in on is a regular device of my own. On top of that, it now plain does not work with Edge. This might be an Edge issue rather than a LastPass issue, because Apple Keychain is getting similar reviews at the moment, but I'm tired of having to copy and paste details from my Vault.

- I have been experiencing the same issue many other users have been experiencing with the app not working on Edge for many months. I also have to frequently reinstall the app. The lack of response from LastPass is very concerning, particularly for subscribers like me. At least, you would expect an email or a banner in the app, considering the extent of the issue. Many of us are evaluating alternative options, which is a pity because this app used to work well, has served us for many years, and has excellent security features.

- Garbage. LastPass is used by several clients and every day people complain about the plugin. It does not login reliably. It frequently does not open web pages and had to be removed and readded to browsers. It frequently loses the settings and they have to be reset. Really - just complete garbage.

- About every other week I have to remove and re-install the extension on Edge. Not sure if it's an Edge problem or the extension, but it's very annoying. It also isn't obvious when it stops working. You just sit there trying to log in to Last Pass and it loads forever.

- Most annoying password manager - works fine on Chrome, doesn't work consistently on Edge. And sometimes it looks like it accepted the password and MFA and yet it keeps spinning and really hasn't connected. This happens at least once a month. Very frustrating. Could you please work with Microsoft to figure out what this bug is and fix it. It started within the last 6 months. So one or both of you made an update that is incompatible.
