• (2024-04-22) Jonathan: I shouldn't have to close and reload my browser repeatedly, multiple times per day just to get a damn extension to load. It just completely fails to load all the time when going to a video. It's ridiculous.
• (2024-04-21) Eric: this works great for my OLED monitors I like setting things to black and all the other custom things I need like auto higher qualities and hiding chat, etc etc etc. | only problem I have currently is that despite having my auto resolution to 8k for nearly everything it doesn't auto select 1080p Premium for videos that support it. its a Youtube Premium feature which I am subscribed to, but I feel like there's gotta be a way for this extension to auto select 1080p Premium for users with the option. I've mentioned this in the past when I was using the Chrome store version, but I deleted it and fully migrated to this native Edge version hoping it would deal with the 1080p Premium option. at one point in the past the 1080p Premium was being auto selected but it has stopped doing that again. that is literally my only complaint. I recommend this extension to all the homies otherwise.

I think it could be cool if there was a way to control how related videos show on screen because these are slightly too big for me and there is slightly too much blank between them

• (2024-04-07) Hal: I love this Add-On.... The only thing I think could make it better is adding the ability to block the utterly annoying keyboard shortcuts for YouTube. Type in the wrong window and all of a sudden you've reconfigured everything.

• (2024-01-30) LaTarsha: The YouTube extension is activating YouTube's ad-blocker detection system, leading to the display of an error message and the prevention of video playback. It appears that YouTube has intensified its enforcement of policies against ad-blockers. I've been a devoted user of this extension since its inception. However, YouTube has recently increased its efforts to restrict viewing for users employing Ad Blocker programs. In my attempt to address the issue, I initially disabled other ad-blocker extensions one by one, but none of them resolved the problem. It wasn't until I disabled Enhancer for YouTube Version: 2.0.121 that YouTube finally removed the blocking error message, allowing for uninterrupted video playback. I would love to continue using this extension so I'm hoping for an update!!!! UPDATED: I went into settings to disable the "Block Ads" option.. bingo!!

But, just so you know, the ad blocker built into this extension will cause YouTube to tell you that you need to disable your Ad Blocker or sign up for YouTube premium, otherwise you can only watch 3 videos every few hours. Just disable the ad blocker in this extension settings and use a better ad blocker like uBlock Origin.

Update: It seems that YouTube is detecting this extension to be an ad blocker and will block you from watching more than 3 videos with it enabled. I am not sure if it is browser specific, but I have no issue watching videos on firefox with Ublock enabled as of 10/9/23. Hopefully an update can resolve this because this extension is incredible otherwise.
