The data we collect includes:
• URL - to check if the website is safe or not
• Usage data - to measure the user’s behavior on the interface and understand how the user interacts with the extension
• Internal extension identifier (GUID) - to distinguish unique malware hits, to measure product telemetry and calculate aggregated statistics
• Information about device (browser type, operating system version) - to obtain usage aggregated statistics
• Country - to detect country specific malware campaigns, and to measure product telemetry and calculate aggregated statistics

- On już jest tak rozszerzony że głowa boli. Mam już 5 podprogramów Avastu a on nadal wyszukuje jakieś problemy i proponuje następne podprogramy Avastu za niecałe 150 - 300 zł rocznie. To są po prostu powolni wyłudzacze pieniążków. Jak instalowałem pierwszego Avasta miał załatwiać wszystko, a teraz coraz więcej próbuje wyłudzić. Mam opłacony Avast Premium Sekurity, Avast Cleanup Premium, Avast Driver Upadater, Avast SecureLine VPN, Avast BreachGuard, a on dalej żąda następnych za opłatą. Szukam już jakiegoś jednego programu antywirusowego który by załatwiał wszystko, może być płatny tak około 500 zł na rok, ale pracuje sobie w cieniu i informuje o błędach, próbach włamań i po prostu naprawia problem.

- I have been using AVAST software for Almost 2 decades and I find it very suitable for any Internet surfing or searching that I do. I have used both the AVAST premium Internet security and the AVAST VPN. I like the AVAST Internet security because it allows me to set not only the level of security I want but it lets me establish it where I want it. The AVAST VPN has the capability of shutting down my Internet if anything interrupts the VPN. All in all, for the price, I have found it to be all the security I need. I give it five stars.

- miałem go od pół roku, ale teraz wylatuje. zablokował mi dostęp do banku. nad okienkiem logowania gdzie wpisuje sie hasło był mały obrazek który avast po 6 miesiąch rozpoznał jako złośliwy i zablokował go bo nie miał certyfikatu przez co nie dało się zalogować na konto ! poszło 2 godziny psu w **** na rozwiązanie zagadki

- Great extension! Blocks trackers and some ads while also giving me bonus security. However, this extension does seem to be a memory hog as once this extension is downloaded, it can use up to 200MB of RAM. On sites where there are multiple malicious ads, this extension doesn't seem to help. It doesn't even block the trackers or ads. I have been using Avast One Essential (which is really awesome, I would recommend getting it) and that was the only thing blocking all of the malicious sites and ads. This extension needs work on blocking malicious sites and ads, while also working on using very little usage (around 100MB). Great extension for privacy. By the way, the UI is amazing, very user friendly without needing it to be more complex.

- I like the bank mode and safe browsing features. Don't like that it has become a system hog and slows down my computer. It has gotten so bad that I had to disable some of its features.
