• (2024-02-27) kevin: i will not use mcafee the place is not a place i even talk to anymore they can not fix a computer probrely they have told me they can fix any thimg they can't i talked to there tech and was told by there master tech they could not fix my pc i went to hp sign up to them tech service smart service its cost 16,99 its the best place i have ever been my computer is very 1998 itt runs let just say it runs they have taken and made like new there tech are in my book the very best i have used i hosestly said 12 diffrent places the only one that myself would reweckment is h,p smart service they do what they say i do not get any thing from hp nothing at all i wasted alot of money on alot of places that told me what they thought i want to hear i can say i spend around 700$ on this computer in pass 20 plus years just to keep it going one time at h.p it works better then 130$ i spend at mcAfee i would say that McAfee took my money like a the theif they are a didnt even give a kiss .....

I just bought laptop and Tuesday I opened the box and turned the computer on and turned the 30 day free trial on and today is Thursday (2 days later) and M cAfee keeps popping up to tell me today is last day of free trial - buy a subscription. The kicker is I already have a 5 computer subscription with 2 computers on it that is good for another 10 months. Do you think McAfee will recognize that? Heck no! Spent the last 2 hours trying to add this laptop onto my subcription and one McAfee ad keeps popping up saying I'm not covered - buy a subscription and another ad from them pop up to say I'm covered. Fed Up!
• (2024-02-01) Laura: I have used McAfee for several years and I am so sick of the pop ups trying to get me to make additional purchases of features that used to be included with my original subscription. At present I can't even open the app. Not sure what is going on but am certainly tired of it all. This program eats up too much memory and gets in the way of other operations. Not happy at all!

Finally called them and they said it wasn't them that did that. Yet somehow I had spent money, thinking I could rid this stupid thing and cancel it later. It somehow ended up in the cart. Now how did that happen??????

Confusion! please send me things that either I need, or I do not have so I don't buy two. I have a 400 score and I have no idea what else I need. Maybe I will stop my subscription and start over. Or maybe search for other options. Not paying twice for the same subscription.

This past summer I tried to stop using this program, when I called which was the only was to get my card number removed, I was told that I was in a contract for so many more years and if I cancelled, I would be charged this crazy amount of money. I fought with these people for a couple of hours. finally, after all the bullying that they did I finally paid 180.00 for the next 3 years. but now trying to use this and know what I'm doing is next to impossible, I will never use this program again and if I could give it no stars I would. Worst experience of my life!

I looked at plenty of the McAfee Site Reports "green check next to the link", and it always shows that it's safe about the Bing website, not the hyperlink itself to click. It's supposed to show the safety rating about the hyperlink, not the search engine you're using.
