- All around a good search engine, except for the inclusion of generative AI. They don't seem to be transparent enough on their use of it, as I had to find out that they used AI through one of their surveys. AI is one of the most damaging things to the environment currently, it is burning through recourses as you're reading this. I couldn't be more disappointed in ecosia, as it goes against being a truthful search engine as well as it's "eco friendly alternative" front. Having a "slightly better" AI is still actively participating in damaging the environment. I can't wholeheartedly recommend using this. Please find an alternative that doesn't use AI.

- Ok search engine, good intentions, but the inclusion of generative text AI, one of the most damaging things to the environment at the minute and one of the largest sources of misinformation from the things it'll confidently make up, goes against the both the intended use of ecosia as an informative search engine and ecosia as an environmentally friendly alternative to other search engines in my opinion.

- Works almost as expected, but perhaps that's Edge's fault, because there's no way of changing the keyword shortcut from ecosia.org to something easier like just "ec" or "e" making it an *actual* short-cut.

- 搜索引擎不错，唯一缺点扩展后首页有“快速链接”影响加载。所以我安装了，却未使用。然后在设置里自定义ecosia搜索，不会有快速链接。

- An sich super. Macht, was es soll. Allerdings fehlt mir in den Einstellungen der Erweiterungen die Möglichkeit, selbst festzulegen, was verändert werden soll. Ich würde gerne selber entscheiden, ob die Erweiterung meine "Neuer Tab"-Seite verändert oder nicht. Wenn man das selber einstellen kann, dann würde ich auch 5 Sterne geben.

- I like the new tab but I wish I could still be able to change my default search engine. For example, I use Ecosia for regular searches with the new tab but I also want to use DuckDuckGo's more advanced !bangs with the address bar. Please don't lock the search engine settings.

- I love Ecosia. To know that my use of the internet is helping to restore the damage to the planet is a huge incentive for me. I've used it for five years or so, and the experience is just as good as with Google or Edge. Love it. The only problem is that I installed the extension to Edge, and Edge keeps blocking it. They make the process of removing the blockage so complicated that I have given up a few times.

- It's a cool search engine, it always has reliable results, plus it helps the environment by planting trees when you search, but it asks you to pay and I did, but it was REALLY expensive.
