(2024-02-24) Jack: This is a great app that works well and is an industry leader, competing well against LastPass and others. I've used it for years both for personal and business. As an IT exec I recommend it to all our employees. I use it every day on iPhone, iPad and multiple Windows laptops. As a longtime user I've NEVER lost a password or had any staff report a problem. Just be sure to set up a recovery method as they recommend, and you'll be fine.

(2024-02-20) Ludwig: I read a lot of bad user ratings here. My experience is different. DL is a great PW manager, i.e., it performs long-term and the product is well forged at reasonable price and stable payment plans; in fact it has never failed since many years. The shift away from 'isolated app' (standalone software) was replaced by browser addon/extension. That shift was initially painful, but ultimately the tool/service works reliable across multiple browsers, machines, and IT networks. In multiple scenarios and use cases over many years (soon decade), DL delivered. Encryption technology is not a thing you learn in school -- regrettably, but DL allows you to make use of it and get back control over your digital life. Several person in my family use it successfully.

(2024-01-18) Björgvin: been a user for over 2 years and lately I've been experiencing problems and it has to do with the nonsense trend that software developers have that they known what best for the consumer like when suddenly core settings like auto logon are set on yes by default - guess what alot of websites I visit don't allow auto logon but dashlane just keep on trying and today when our password is wrong 20 times because of auto log on you going to get locked out of the system And no it's not true everything is better when integrated into all and then it the huge service vulnerability having a 3d party addon as the only method of retrieval - just a normal update might cause just a minor interferences but in the wrong place and the extension will be automatically blocked - and it is a simple fact that more integration more issues and then if you think your scoring any points with your robotic customer service you are wrong and just that alone would be enough reason for me to terminate my account
(2024-01-14) John: I am locked out of my Dashlane account despite knowing my password and using recovery codes and authenticator. Messages says "something went wrong". This makes Dashlane unworkable. Of course they have a useless robotic chat.

(2023-12-26) John: Worked great when it was a computer application. Now, even as an extension, if you are logged in you get a pop-up message to log into the website covering up the extension data. Hopefully they are working to get all this corrected soon.

(2023-11-10) mary: like others, I used Dashlane for years. It used to work great. I dropped it this year because of the modifications that simply don't work. I can't even get into it anymore. They keep sending me a confirming email with a code and it never arrives. Before I left, I printed out my data and moved on.
(2023-11-07) Gary: I have to remove and reload the extension after logging into the dashlane site every time I restart the system. This appears to be another case of cloudflare/dashlane issues. If not resolved soon, I will move on to another provider.

I've been a Dashlane user for years, but the switch to an exclusively web-based app has unfortunately highlighted the issues with Microsoft Edge. The most recent Edge update (Oct/Nov of 2023) broke the Dashlane browser extension... again. It's about the 2nd or 3rd time it's happened this year. Fortunately it still works perfectly on Chrome, and I'm about ready to switch to that full-time. Having to use an alternative browser every time an Edge update breaks something is no longer worth my effort or time.

Habe die Passwort-Liste gleich exportiert und nutze jetzt wieder Keepass - lokal, kostenlos, kein Datenverlust durch "Ausfälle" von cloud-basierenden Lösungen.
