- Is this service like Befrugal? It popped up as I was shopping and I added it but I don't see where I can check my account for savings or is the cash back instant? Unsure what to do here. Befrugal is simple where I can shop on the site and see my shopping an cash return, hopefully this site is that simple.

- The extension used to work flawlessly when I had an old PC running Windows 10, but once I got a new PC with Windows 11, so many sites get the error messages "can't reach this page. Check if there is a typo in www.ojrq.net" or "can't reach this page. Check if there is a typo in click.linksynergy.com. I have the latest version of MS Edge and Rakuten extension, and I didn't disable any pop-ups. So frustrating!

- This was a great extension, and a solid service, but recently they started adding random pop-ups with sales and promotions from other sites that have nothing to do with the site you're on. Worse, you can't turn it off. This is irritating and a massive degredation of the product.

- I use d to lover the app now I'm half loving it. why, you ask? Because Walmart does not offer cash back anymore :-(. I ended up not getting my cash back from them for the previous 3 months before they announced they changed it over ugh. also you really have to make sure to stay on the raketan ticket above your screen because if you don't it kicks you out and you receive no cash back.

- Your website isn't working. Since yesterday. No in store purchases and it keeps making me login continuously. Is someone going to look at this problem?

- At first, it worked great getting me cashback. But every time I make a purchase and I enable Rakuten, it seems that the cashback process doesn't work as it should. I have to manually ask for help on Rakuten's website by clicking on Missing Cashback and filling in the details with the date of purchase, a text copy of my email invoice, and the subtotal. Only then, do they acknowledge the shopping trip (when you click on the Rakuten button) and actually reward me cashback. It's tedious and I shouldn't have to do it every single time, as of lately. I thought this app was supposed to make it easy to get cashback, not take time out of my day figuring out why I'm NOT getting cashback even though I did all the right steps. If you aren't keeping track of the Rakuten rewards, you can come to the nasty conclusion that you could very well have received NOTHING.

- I love this! I like that the extension will have it's pop-up when it's a site with a deal or coupons. You do have to be careful not to click on another pop-up or else it will void out the Rakuten ticket. Also, read the fine print...just like coupons, not all items are eligible for the rebates.

- I'm glad to see that I am not the only one getting paid and not being able to use it because of the blockers. I spent a crapload of money at Christmas, and told my family how much money I could save using Rakuten. With the 20% off at Under Armour, a bunch of us went in on over $300 of clothing. I figured out how much everyone owed me with the 20% off and everyone paid, me. I came to the site to see when my check was coming, and now I'm almost crying. I too was an Ebate customer, but Rakuten is not reliable.

- They get you to install the extension by pretending you will get $10 for installing it on edge. Then you won't get ****. Stay away from Rakuten. Look at the number of reviewers accusing them of fraud.

- My name is Frank, and I started using Rakuten about six years ago (at that time it was known as "E-Bates). I have the same problem as Cynthia, not getting paid for purchases. And being told the seller did not provide Rakuten with any information regarding my purchase. (This happened all the time with Temu) Then about six months ago I started getting the "Your Browser is working too hard" notice; so, between not getting paid and not being able to access the program I rarely try to use Rakuten anymore.

- I have the Rakuten extension, but every store I go to Rakuten says "my ad blocker is working too hard." I have tried everything to fix this, nothing changes this message, and Rakuten does not give me the cashback I should be due.

- Loved the extension, unfortunately it appears that it no longer works since the "floating" R came out. I liked how the red circle turns green when Rakuten has been accepted on the website, unfortunately, it was not really working. I just reviewed my account and the only purchases that have fed into my Rakuten account have been from Walmart. No other retailers since June 2024. I used the help-chat and submitted several Ready Refresh purchases, and all were found but 1. I submitted several Omaha Steaks purchases and only 1 was found. I now have to submit all of those invoices via email. I've already spent 90 minutes on submissions, and I still have to submit all of my purchases from Chewy, about 20 of them, that'll be another 2hrs. The light is green but the info is not feeding into my Rakuten account except for Walmart. Very frustrating.

- I, like the others, am having issues with the extension. Constantly says ad blockers have to be disabled when they actually are disabled, and also, will not take you to a website when it makes a suggestion. Those are the two main issues because the floating R is not really a bother as it tells you that you have the cash back activated.

- New update has been pretty annoying - there is a floating Rakuten "R" on the websites that you cannot turn off in settings. I don't want it to display on every single website that accepts Rakuten, I should be able to turn off this floating "R"!

- Loved Rakuten for years. Recently would occasionally run into issues with adblockers but it wasnt a big deal it would still work eventually. However it no longer works. I do not have an adblocker on, I do not have firewall, vpn, or any of the other things they list as an excuse for their service not working. The service is not longer usable for me and there is no way to contact anyone. Their contact submission form doesnt work, it fails every time I try to submit my issue. Really sad because Ive been using them since the beginning pretty much.

- I was offered $30 for sign up through a referral and $10 to install the extension, so I signed up. I didn't receive any money that I was promised, so now this app has all my data for free. Total scam.

- I had a substantially the same experience as Angela. I was incentivized to install the extension and create an account in my browser by getting and offer for $10 USD cash back after making a purchase at an online bookstore. Everything went smoothly but also no cash back value was received insofar making good on the terms and condition they offered respective to the cash back aspect of the terms and conditions. And it looks like they want Angela to jump through their hoops instead of doing their own research into the matter to boot. No thanks. Trust factor level is at 0 so far.

- This extension used to be helpful when it was just a button by the browser address bar and could be declined, but a recent idiotic update has also created an unremovable, intrusive floating popup that has made it unbearable. I uninstalled it and will just use microsoft cash back which had comparable offers anyway. In fact, users can't do a review of this extension unless it is installed--I was so annoyed, I reinstalled it just to do this review and will now uninstall it again

- Rakuten is the best out of the Cash Back/Rebate extensions that I've used. When my order doesn't show up, I gave them my order number and date and they added it with no issues. Got all my rebates back at stated times. I've tried the other ones like Microsoft or PayPal/Honey just because their rebate offer was higher. Microsoft was terrible to work with, I just gave up. PayPal/Honey does work, but it's more hit miss with the rebate they give you. Rakauten's support is superior as you can tell by their response on here or Chrome extensions.

- The pop-up is sometimes in the way, but getting cash back on orders I didn't even remember to look on rakuten for is great. I get about $100 a year back for something I was going to buy anyway.

- Discogs lied about the Rakuten browser extension. They sent me a popup saying if I installed the Rakuten extension, I would get $10 off on my next purchase, but it never happened. The extension was confirmed to be working too because I went to other sites and the discount was clearly available, but not on Discogs, so they are clearly lying about it !

I have been using Rakuten for a long time. Since it was Ebates. I have gotten quite a bit back. Not exactly sure how much, but I believe a few hundred anyway. Those that say it is a scam, are the scammers. I love Rakuten.
