- Thanks to those that wrote reviews. I saw what was the issue with the forced update to the desktop messenger app. The error gave no additional info other than "Try again later. Something happened on our end.". I have been trying for about 6 months (can't recall exact date I got the message). It was not until I stumbled on these reviews that said it had to be added to edge. Wow, it could have said "Mobile platform only, the desk top has been discontinued. Please install as an extension in Edge." So with the help here, I have installed it in Edge, but yet to try. Really so very sad that there is no way to use the old desktop app until Microsoft makes it unrunable even in a compatibility box. One star is way too much. And I can't think that Meta did this by accident. I'd love to see a post here from a Meta executive as to the strategy behind those decisions (specifically forced exit from the desktop platform). Written on my desktop w/32" monitor and full sized wireless kb.

- It doesn't do anything at all. Click the icon in the extensions area and it says "Select the messenger, you want to access". But there's nothing listed. Just an easy link at the bottom to leave a 1-star review.
