Also known as "BTTV" or "Better Twitch TV" by the community, BetterTTV aims to add new features to Twitch and YouTube (in beta).
Here's some of the features we add:
• Extra emotes in chat - BetterTTV global and per-channel custom emotes
• Improved emote menu
• Custom keywords targeting phrases, words, users, and chat badges
• Split chat lines for easy reading
• See deleted links and messages
• Anon Chat - join a channel without showing in the user list
• Automatically claim channel points bonuses, drops, and moments
• Hide visual noise and clutter like recommended channels, bits, replies, notices, and community highlights
How to use:
• Just install and visit Twitch/YouTube to begin using the add-on.
• To enable for YouTube, you need to agree to the additional permission at installation. If you didn't, you can still enable it at any time from the BetterTTV Settings.
• Settings can be configured in the chat settings or by clicking the BetterTTV settings from the user dropdown menu.
• Note: Not all settings are compatible with YouTube at this time.

- When BetterTTV is enabled in Microsoft Edge, YouTube livestreams freeze when switching to fullscreen mode. Disabling BetterTTV resolves the issue immediately.

- i dont see the autoplay setting, and no there is no bettertv setting search box or even channel setting

- As other have said since 2023, 2 years ago, this is not working on Edge. There is no settings menu. No way to turn anything on. It says it's active, but it doesnt do anything. I know how to use the extension, as I've been using it for years on Chrome and Firefox.

- I loved it until it changed. Now I can't find any of the animated emotes that I used all the time, its all white now, and not user friendly at ALL. Change it back like it used to be!

- It's probably Edge's fault, but BTTV broke completely. Emote menu isn't showing Twitch emotes, BTTV channel emotes or 7TV channel emote. The emote menu is always displayed in light mode. Tab completion for emotes or usernames doesn't work at all.

- marche très bien il faut juste actualiser Twitch puis cliquer sur les paramètres en bas à droite du chat et aller dans les paramètres de betterttv en fessant défiller on peut tomber sur la partie réclamation auto et activer la récupe auto 😁

- Works perfectly most of the time and if it does have an issue I go to *BTTV settings* within Twitch under the chat window (not the settings under the Video window) then I'll toggle all the things of then back on as I want them to be and refresh the stream that will usually fix anything that's wrong. Occasionally I have to check my extensions for updates and then go back to the stream afterwards and refresh. Once upon a year I've had to switch back and forth between using the Microsoft BTTV extension version and the Chrome version, that hasn't been necessary for quite a while and I just have the Microsoft Edge version. Another thing to note is that sometimes your other extensions can interfere with each other specifically on sites that allow auto run ads and don't like it when you try and go around that, so limit what extensions are allowed to access Twitch and that may also fix any problems others have said they are having.

- I was enjoying Microsoft Edge after using Chrome for years, but if I can't use BetterTTV emotes on Twitch that's kind of lame. Please fix!

- It's good, very happy to see support for 7TV emotes added. However, it doesn't show all the 7TV emotes a streamer has added to their channel. For instance, I noticed a streamer have just over 600 7TV emotes in their channel, but only 153 of those emotes (a 17x9 grid) show up in the bttv extension's emote menu.

- EDIT - works perfectly fine now (what follow is for the original 3 star review I left) Limited functionality, appears to need an update since it is not totally working with edge. Most feature you care about probably work, but certain ones dont seem to for me (click on the player to pause/unpause the video or stream, disabled auto play everywhere, etc.)

- Ajoute énormément de choses utiles comme (ce que j'utilise le plus) l'auto-claim des points de chaine, host de chaine en 1 clic (besoin de l'activer dans les options avant), les emotes BTTV et FrankerFaceZ, voir les messages effacés (a activer dans les options aussi), ajout de mot a surligner dans le chat (utile si le pseudo peut être raccourci ou si on vous appelle autrement) et j'ai jamais eu le moindre soucis en plus de 2 ans d'utilisation, bref, je recommande grandement :)
