(2024-04-18) Robert: I've been using Momentum over 4 years but recently searches in my address bar began redirecting to Bing. I discovered my browser was being impacted by a browser hijacker called sysredirector. I started disabling extensions, and as soon as I disabled Momentum the problem disappeared. Coincidentally, Momentum is featured in the Edge Add-on store. So, I'll be finding another new tab extension that doesn't hijack my browser.

This is such an horrific security practice I immediately disabled, uninstalled, and wrote this review. That they would so glibly and without caution ask for such a sensitive level of access speaks very poorly of their operation and approach to design.

(2021-09-24) Rashelle: Just enabled this went into the settings to choose how I wanted it setup. Just so everyone who haven't looked at settings YOU CAN'T DISABLE "Allow this extension to read and change ALL your data on websites you visit". Excuse me no I don't think so, I control those decisions - not some extension thank you very much. I should not have to choose between - "on click, specific sites, and all sites". This is MY PC and my choice to say yes or no to those types of questions. VERY disappointed before I even got started....might want to rethink that "option" to do things you shouldn't be able to control for anyone. Don't email me with questions or feedback .
