(2024-03-24) Brodie: You pay the low low price of $9.99 for a year-long subscription to this awful adblock that almost never works and as a bonus, it states that it gives you the option to either renew or cancel your subscription before automatically renewing. NEVER HAPPENED. It just sent another bill for $119 without ever giving word to cancel. $119? For this dumpster fire of an adblock that doesn't work??? Total scam. At least give me a refund the bill came in like 10 minutes ago.

This is way more trouble that the adds every were. If you want to buy this service, that's fine but just try it out because you will be stuck with the adds on every screen you go to.
(2024-02-24) M: I haven't had any issues and works great. Took me a bit to figure it out when it was still showing pop ups. The trick is when you go to a page you always go to then turn off the red x and then go to the green button and click on always. and you won't have issues. Pop ups will only continue to happen if you change your red x off and the green button to always. You ALWAYS want to keep the Red X and the Green button to stay red with a stop hand symbol. If the green button is off it will show green with a thumbs up. The red x, when you turn it off it will stay red BUT, it will show a yellow exclamation mark because it's blocking your pop-ups that are trying to get in that site. That's all you need to do. I've been using it for lil over 3 years now and have had no issues whatsoever. Good luck all. Hope this will help you.

(2024-02-21) Thomas: I purchased a new (and expensive) HP Laptop. One of the supposed perks was TotalDefense software included in the purchase. Fancy foldout brochure which has the "20-character Product Registration Code". Which is to be entered "....when prompted." Confusing when revealing the hidden code in the brochure, the code is stated as an "Activation Code". Matters not as I have spent toooo much time unable to find anywhere which prompts me for ANY code. Hence, I have neither activated nor registered this software. Ironically, I get pop-up ads reminding me that Total(whatever) is not functioning. Damn though!! I have been (re-)directed to the "Place Order NOW to take advantage of huge intro discount" page so many times I cannot even count. End result, I tossed brochure into box, and activated the protection software available, so simply and easily, from HP and Microsoft. NO online assistant, human or AI, available. This appears, without a $$ purchase, to be my 0nly contact portal. Hurray! Ya
