Display tabs in a hierarchical structure similar to a tree

Image from store Forest: Tree Style Tab Manager
Description from store Tab management doesn't have to be a hassle Forest is built on the concept of managing tabs like a "tree". By default, any new tab opened from the current tab is organised as the "child" of the current branch and displayed beneath of the current tab in the menu. The children of the branch can be shown by toggling the arrow sign in front of the branch tab. It is useful for grouping tabs on similar topics as you're browsing the internet. FEATURES: * Drag and drop to organise tab * Add new tab * Delete tab * Duplicate tab * Mute / Unmute tab * Reload tab * Pin / Unpin tab * Hibernate tab REVIEW You can leave a review on the store or submit a request via: https://www.reddit.com/r/ForestExtension/ GET IN TOUCH Twitter: @ForestExtension Contact: [email protected] PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS https://getforest.io/privacy

  • (2024-06-19) Max: Good extension. It's as functional as needed and pretty light on RAM. However, on Edge the "external window" option is NOT reliably offered after clicking the "Plus" sign despite the "external window" option being toggled on in the settings. Sometimes I am offered "new external window", sometimes I am not. Secondly, on Edge there is no shortcut to toggle the in-line view. Nor can we adjust the time I have to hover over the side bar for the menu to pop up. Thirdly, there is no shortcut to toggle the view that would open if one clicked on the extension icon. 3 issues to solve. 3 stars to add ;)

  • (2024-01-31) Pieter: Every link you visit is uploaded to https://api-js.mixpanel.com/track with your device id, browser versions and 10 other data points. Stay away from this. Uninstalling now.....
  • (2023-04-12) Michael: Requiring a login without explanation is sketchy at best. At least provide a reasoning for it at the top of the description.
  • (2023-03-02) Luke: Requires a login? No thanks
  • (2022-07-27) Tim: Requires a log in. Wat.
  • (2021-10-06) Brian: You can't even change settings without creating an account. I don't like how the extension behaves under default configuration (inline view pops out on hover instead of staying visible), and I'm not creating an account with them just to be able to set the basic behavior for an extension which should be completely client-side.
  • (2021-03-07) 广: Inline model can not work in Edge.
  • (2021-03-04) lu: 很不错的插件,要是能固定在左侧不弹来弹去就更好了。
  • (2020-10-27) 渊: Don't support Chinese。It is recommended to learn the same name expansion of Firefox
  • (2020-10-08) Peter: love the concept, but whenever I try editing any setting in the extension, it crashes. and I have to keep clicking the icon whenever I want to use it right now, please fix. my email is [email protected] , if you need me to submit more information. thanks in advance
  • (2020-08-31) Alex: Works well. Would be nice to pin it at a side and to remove the original tab-bar.
