SponsorBlock is an extension that will skip over sponsored segments of
YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that let's anyone submit the start and end time's of sponsored segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
This is open source and the entire database is public.
With this extension, you will automatically skip YouTube sponsors.
The extension also features and upvote/downvote system with a weighted random based distribution algorithm.

- This extension automatically skips annoying sponsor rolls so that I don't have to! I have skipped hours of segments so far and will skip many more in the future. Would recommend if you use YouTube in addition to an adblocker for a distraction free experience.

- Расширение хорошее, но похоже что в последнее время у них с сервером беда. Практически всегда ошибка 502, 404 и прочее. В очень редкие часы в сутках работает, в остальное время ни сегмент отправить, ни уже загруженные не скачивает.

- pretty neat concept but i just found a video where a "VIP" put the wrong type of segment in and locked the video so the community can't change it. I don't want this to be run from the top down, the extension worked much better when the people were allowed to make segments

- 5 звёзд. Раньше постоянно напрягали различные вставки - сейчас можно сосредоточится на самом видео. Единственное нарекание, это когда усердно и по возможности максимально точно создаёшь таймкоды для вырезки вставки, стараешься, потеешь, но какой-то чел минусует твой труд - и всё прахом; но потом всё-равно кто-то создаёт таймкоды для тех же моментов, что и ты создавал, но уже не так старательно, а более криво... Вот тут желание помогать пропадает! :) Есть мысль, что это могут делать намеренно, чтобы самому получить рейтинг, но, это, разумеется, всего-лишь догадка, доказать не представляется возможности.

- I hope you be able to edit/delete your submission segment after it already be submited. Because sometimes I do a mistake:P. I just read the guidelines awhile ago and realize it rn and I just hope that it can be deleted manually by me who submitted it-

- Was working great for months, now recently it won't auto skip and manual skipping with a hotkey doesn't work either. I've tried disabling all other extensions to no avail. Hopefully this is fixed soon because I'm tired of seeing ads about shaving my giblets.... Update: Reinstalling the extension seems to have cleared up whatever was causing it to break. If you are having problems with segments not being skipped, remove the extension, restart Edge, and reinstall the extension.
