Privacy Badger automatically learns to block hidden trackers. Privacy Badger is made by the leading digital rights nonprofit EFF to stop companies from spying on you.
Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal (https://globalprivacycontrol.org/) to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal (https://www.eff.org/issues/do-not-track) to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore these signals, Privacy Badger will learn to block them.
Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

- Somehow I still get adds - especially on YouTube. Then there is the problem regarding the User Interface. None of the labels make sense. I really don't know what it means when the app says This can read and change site data. I mean what is this telling me? I'm no computer expert, how am I supposed to know? The app needs to be set up with labels like "Turn off ads". Real simple. Programmers think everyone knows what they know. I don't.

- Privacy Badger blockiert Trackers sehr gut. Mithilfe von Edge Chromium können noch Ad-Trackers blockiert werden! Die Webseiten und deren Strukturen werden nicht beeinträchtigt. Die Web- Farben bleiben lebendig. Die lästigen Werbungen werden teilweise sehr gut blockiert. Es gibt keine Komplikationen mit "Edge-Cromium". Ich hoffe es, dass zu Privacy Badger in Zukunft anderen Funktionen hinzugefügt wird.

- BOBBY uninstall and reinstall. I have been using Privacy Badger since their inception. This was the only "one off" that I can remember ever incurring for the Badger. Give it another try.

- Nothing but a headache! Constantly fails to load on Edge (windows 10 PC) and now I constantly get error that "Privacy Badger failed to initialize". ENOUGH of this mess. Bye bye badger.

- Hands down one of the quintessential extensions you MUST install no matter what! This cuts out all that advertising BS you have skillfully learned to ignore, so you can focus on the content you really wanted to see. Bye bye clickbait advertising, and if something "breaks", then it's super easy to turn off for one site, or even adjust as necessary. No real skill required. The EFF is a super legit foundation at the forefront of internet security and privacy, so there's nothing to hesitate when thinking about installing an ad blocker, especially since it's so much more than that.

- So fun fact. I was messing around with bing, asked it what it thought the best browsers were for privacy. It gave me some recommendations of course Brave was on top. I already use brave but I've grown to really enjoy edge. When I asked it if it could suggest me an addon to the edge that would give it a similar level of privacy to brave, it recommended this addon. I thought "this has to be some garbage addon bing found from some 'top ten' page that's actually just some ad" It mentioned the people who made the addon. So out of curiosity and to test the addon's trustworthiness I asked Bing to tell me if the makers had been involved in any controversies, what their goal was and who funded them.. Turns out these guys fight corporations for our privacy. They have been involved in countless "controversies" (court cases against corpos, court cases protecting consumers etc)
