  • (2024-09-20) David: It looks very good. I would like a way, through this extension or another, to convert gmail into the basic html view, the exact same look and exact same minimal functionality, that Google discontinued this year. If there is a way to flip to that mode with the present extension, I don't see it. P.S. Is there a way turn off animated transitions? If I hover over an email header, it pops up slightly, the border turns bold, etc.

  • (2024-01-16) Edward: This is a truly astounding extension! It would be worth the subscription fee for the tracker blocking alone, but all of the UX improvements over default Gmail make Simplify a real gem. I feel so much calmer using Gmail than I did before. Thanks, Michael!
  • (2024-01-15) Alexandre: Fantastic. Couldn't live without it.
  • (2022-12-14) Matt: I'm giving this 1 star and here is way because when I installed this extension, I thought it was free, but it is not since my trial has expired which is stupid this should be free, I would never pay for extension ever and I shouldn't have to.
  • (2022-01-30) David: This is one of the most useful extensions I've ever downloaded! I was just looking for something that gave me the unread messages count in the corner of my browser, but THIS extension is 1,000% more useful. Totally worth the $2 per month. It simplifies the Gmail website to something that looks similar to my email in (much more user-friendly) Outlook at work.
  • (2021-04-05) Sean: Yes, yes and yes! This really helps declutter gmail. I use about 6-7 different gmails at once for work. This really helps! Thank you!
  • (2021-03-18) Ryan: If this ever went away I'd be forced to find a new email client. It's that good.
  • (2021-02-11) Andrew: V2 Review: I have a lot of thoughts. I like the idea to the changes but the whole experience is buggy. I am annoyed that functionality was removed in the update.. I personally will pay for the full version when it comes out. V1 Review: This really makes Gmail such a better experience. Especially on large screens. I love how clean it makes my inbox look. (V1 would make a great free tier.)
  • (2020-11-08) matt: Gmail as it was originally meant to be.
