Do you ever play along with a YouTube video to practice a song or learn from a music tutorial lesson? When you need to master a song in a different key you can use this tool to pitch shift the audio, repeat a section in a loop or slow down the video to get a hang of it quicker.
It's also fun to just mess around with the audio :)
Go to a video site like Youtube or Vimeo, select a music video, and open the extension to get started. Do you want to pitch shift an mp3 file? This could be a faster way!

- Really good tool for music study. However, there is an overlap in the UI with Youtube screen. is it possible to support sidebar mode in MS edge? or working as a floating window then I can move to other location of screen.

- I use this for everything. In my top 5 most used for sure. Ive just come to realize that it doesn't work with Suno.ai unfortunately. Neither does tab capture... Would be an absolute game changer!!

- Such a great extension! Really helps with learning/rehearsing/transcribing music. Helps me prepare for my gigs much more efficiently. Only suggestion might be to fiddle with the formant of the pitch shifting so that it doesn't change the character of the sound as much with the change in pitch - but that is pretty superfluous. Great extension, very thankful for it!

- hey tune73 do you think there is any possible way to add that goes up to infinity semitones instead of 12 do you think there is any possible way to do that and if you can update it today because i want to listen to it in grasshopper or cricket chirping at night for high pitched and in low pitch that sounds like a growling bear i do you know a bear that growls i want or a demon a satan i do so do you think there is any possible way to add infinity semitones instead of 12 and with the high pitched please keep it squeaky instead of going back to the original voice at the end too okay if you can

- This app works great for what it is! But I wish there was a way to make the speed also change the pitch too, like setting a vinyl record at the wrong speed or a Walkman with low batteries. So that it would both be 90% of the original speed and the 440 Hz notes would actually play at 396.

- It was working really well until the pitch and transpose stopped working but sometimes works with the shorts on youtube. I would give this a 5 star if these errors are fixed.

- The pitch algorithm is spot on. My grief is, I don't know how to make it permanent? If I change pitch and rewind, it vanishes. Probably due to my lack of knowledge but can't find a setting to allow the app to be in the app toolbar.
