(2022-02-04) Michael: Der beste kostenlose Passwortmanager den ich kenne! Sehr komfortabel finde ich u.a. die Möglichkeit, MYKI mit der Windows Anmeldung zu entsperren. Genial finde ich das Grundkonzept von MYKI, welches die Risiken der Speicherung in der Cloud umgeht. Durch die lokale Speicherung bzw. Sicherung der hoch verschlüsselten .myki Datei, sinnvollerweise natürlich auf mindestens 2 physisch getrennten Geräten, kommt man selbst bei einem kompletten Ausfall eines Gerätes an alle Passwörter ran. Was mir auch besonders gut gefällt an MYKI, ist neben dem einzigartigen Komfort die Möglichkeit, MYKI in verschiedenen Desktop Browsern nutzen zu können, ebenso wie auf Mobilgeräten. Sehr clever und komfortabel ist dabei die Möglichkeit, MYKI zwischen den verschiedenen Geräten auch vollautomatisch zu synchronisieren. Weil man diesen genialen Passwortmanager komplett umsonst nutzen kann, sage ich hier mal ein riesiges Dankeschön an MYKI, dass man diesen einzigartigen Passwortmanager kostenlos nutzen kann!
(2021-06-12) Frederick: Best free password manager out there. Has all the features you need for free, and has optional paid features. Would recommend to anyone.
(2021-03-07) Hal: I am looking hard for an alternative to LastPass. LastPass (And it's current parent LogMeIn) has cut functionality over and over, while increasing prices. The free tier is useless. So I came to MYKI as it's been well rated. Sadly, MYKI doesn't meet expectations. For the Add-On, which is what is being looked at in this review, it's functionality is lacking. When the password list pops up on a web page, you can't search it- so forget about finding the right account on sites you might have multiple logins to (E.g. Google accounts) Reviews mentioned that an emergency contact setting was available. I can't even find a way to do it if I pay their license. The right-click on their icon in the login fields provides no functionality- unlike LastPass that would let you generate passwords or copy them. Unfortunately the web browser plugin just isn't where I would want it- and my hunt continues. I might return to MYKI, if no other solutions better meet my needs- but it falls short
