Pop-out and load any video element to a floating window.
Video Popout is an extension that lets you easily detach the active video in a tab and load it in a small and floating popup outside of the current window.
The floating window remains active even if you change the active tab. Please note that if you close the tab that contains the video, the floating popup window will be closed as well. This addon uses the new JavaScript API called "picture-in-picture". It currently works in all modern browsers. It is important to note that, the floating window will stay on top of other windows.
Note: please play the video first and then click on the toolbar button to make it pop out. A paused or stopped video element, will not respond to the pop-out request. To change this behavior, please visit the extension options page and adjust the settings.

- Does it as it says, just right-click your video. Works across a variety of video platforms that I've tested. *HOWEVER* is it possible to get this extension to allow pop-outs for multiple video streams at the same time? This is a feature in Firefox and it was great for F1TV watching 4-6 popped out videos at once.

- Does it job without flaws. It became my go-to addon for microsoft edge and chrome, and it's very useful for multitasking work while watching something ♥ 10/10. - I am looking for an Add-on to be able to watch a little pop out video in the bottom corner whilst I use different tabs etc. I installed this first as it was on the top of my search results and after rebooting I tried it on 3 video sites I mainly use inc utube... AND NOPE! This Add-on did NOT even recognise any videos whatsoever! The next Add-on in my search was PICTURE IN PICTURE FOR EVERY WEBSITE by ALLGOOD which so far has worked perfectly on every single video. My verdict: This does not even deserve the minimum 1 star rating. Do not bother, VIDEO POPOUT is a total waste of time :( however I do highly recommend PICTURE-IN-PICTURE :)
