Simply set the URL you want new tabs to load and it'll load it. No fluff. Cloud sync enabled.

Customize the new tab URL. Redirect the new tab page to any URL you want.
There are 4 options available:
- URL you want the new tab URL to be
- whether you want the URL to be auto-highlighted/selected on new tab page load (or if you want the focus on new tab load to be on your page)
- whether you wish to enable a light mode theme (it currently defaults to a dark theme)
- whether Edge should sync this setting with the cloud

- Unable to use local files (e.g. C:\folder\start.html), you must upload the required html file to the internet. Issue has been reported on extension's page for 2 years but not fixed.

- Thanks. Just what I wanted. It seems the worry in a previous review about this default permission "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites that you visit" has been removed. The only permission it has now is "Change the page you see when you open a new tab" which is just what is wanted.

- Excellent! Does exactly what I want and nothing else. Set address bar to search with Google before activating addon and check "Enable auto-highlight/select URL on new tab load" and it works exactly is I was used to on Chrome.

- I've been looking for this feature everywhere and finally found it. Can't believe Microsoft doesn't allow non-MS content to be displayed by default unless you modify Edge with a third party extension.

- It works as it should. I love it. Simple and effective. However, Microsoft keeps turning it off lol. I don't know if it is during browser updates or quietly at random. But I just opened the browser again a moment ago and it was back to the stupid Microsoft Start site filled with BS clickbait. I can't stand it. That site causes me to cringe every time I see it. I think I've reached the point where if they try quietly disabling this plugin one more time, I am going to drop Edge and use something else.

- I love this app. It would be even better if my caret would automatically start typing into the address bar when I open a new tab.

- Anything to replace MSN as a new tab page is a must have. This seems to work well. MSN, and especially the far right cesspool in the comment sections of articles, is terrible. Edge should have an easy way to change your new tab page to anything, but unfortunately it doesn't without a registry edit as far as I know. Glad to get rid of it and not read any more republican garbage.

- I added this extension. Edge turned it off. I had to "turn on" the extension. Then I pasted the same URL as my home page. Turned off (unchecked) the "sync". SAVE'd that, ...discovered Bob's my uncle.
