- I like the ability but unfortunately the redirect also removes your access to the bookmarks toolbar. I'd love to select a new page for my new tab but also keep the bookmarks toolbar until i made a choice of what to do in the new tab.

- Microsoft makes it so hard to set the starting tab. There is a Setting, but it doesn't seem to work (Edge always returns to a Microsoft news page). Even after installing this extension Microsoft turns it off by default. But once installed and configured, this extension is a dream!

- It's a good extension and now i can get rid of the stupid microsoft edge new tab with news i'm not even interested on. And i don't know why Microsoft disables it for default if it's not a virus, maybe Microsoft doesn't want you to change your new tab page. And also when i change the new tab page microsoft says ''Is this the changes you expected'' and two buttons saying ''Keep Changes'' and ''Restore Settings'' because they don't want you to change your new tab page

- Absolutely brilliant! I no longer get distracted by the cluttered new tab page, and I no longer have to customize it to minimize distractions. Now I just set my New Tab to "about:blank" and don't have to worry about it anymore.

- Developer: I would use this, except that Custom New Tab requires the new custom tab URL to start with https:// address. However, I use a local page on my C Drive as my designated home page, and that is what I need Custom New Tab to open. The problem is that by default Custom New Tab inserts an https:// as the start of the URL, thus making it impossible to use my local file as the URL. For instance: I entered as my desired new tab URL this local file: C:\HomeEdge\Bookmarks Work.htm ...but by default, Custom New Tab changed the above address to https://c/HomeEdge/Bookmarks%20Work.htm which is a non-existent resource that leads to nowhere. The above makes Custom New Tab useless for me, as promising as it looked. =>Can Custom New Tab be changed to allow absolute refs to local files? Or make the address bar totally blank? (That would of course allow users to enter potentially insecure resources, such as http:// or ftp:// but that responsibility is really on the user.) Thank you.
