Dass diese Erweiterung offenbar seit 2016 nicht mehr aktualisiert wurde, ist - gelinde gesagt - eine Unverschäm Seit mehreren Wochen ist der Web Clipper nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, da er die Notizbücher nicht öffnet - nur einen Standardspeicherort. Der Link zu "weiteren Informationen" ist hoffnungslos veraltet und alle Hilfsmaßnahmen aus dem Web haben nichts geholfen. Es wird von einer DiagnoseAPI für OneNote gesprochen, die ich in zwei Versionen gefunden habe. Beide funktionieren nicht - wahrscheinlich weil sie mit der 2FA nicht umgehen können. Als mögliches Problem wird genannt, dass man zuviel Daten haben könnte (über 5000 Abschnitte oder Seiten?). So viele habe ich gar nicht. Es funktioniert in keinem Browser. Ich liebe OneNote, aber die ganze gute Erfahrung damit wird hierdurch zunichte gemacht. Ich bin sehr verärgert.

• (2025-01-13) Douglas: I just installed the OneNote Web Clipper extension this morning on my Edge browser, and it operates like a CHAMP! I've been using it for several hours and it's fully functional. To confirm that the syncing between my PC OneNote app content is timely I have the app opened and each time I clip content in Edge I have a prompt asking if I wish to launch OneNote in my browser. I choose yes, then see within several seconds that the content appears in my app, too. An essential tool for my revised work flow!

• (2025-01-11) Jonathan: Used to be great. Now no longer works in Edge. Multiple Edge updates and Windows updates installed. Removed Web Clipper and re-installed several times. Web Clipper now tries to open repeatedly but never does - the purple dialog box in the top right keeps blinking into and out of existence. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

• (2025-01-10) Chris: It has its fair share of hiccups from time to time but overall, I think it's pretty great for a free extension. Before I discovered it; I was using the "Print PDF to OneNote" Function to transfer web-based information into organized notebooks. Before that it was a either a cropped Screen Capture or old fashioned, Copy&Pasta. So, using the extension has made a noticeable difference in how much time it took me to convert allot of data and and sort them into my Notebooks.

If I want to clip something from a web page into OneNote, I usually have to use the Evernote web clipper and copy/paste the note from Evernote into OneNote. It seems that the Evernote development has a better understanding how MS Edge works than MS does.

• (2024-07-31) Bruce: Lowering My Rating from 5 to 3 Curiously, this extension no longer works on many articles linked from Microsoft's own Start site. This problem started a few months ago and has been flagged by many. Please fix this. This OneNote Clipper is my single most used extension. I move a lot of information to OneNote from multiple browsers. It's highly annoying when it doesn't work on certain sites. Other clip options are slower.

Doof nur, dass MS sich dazu entschieden hat, die Firefox User zur Edge- oder Chromenutzung (beides ja der gleiche Unterbau) zu gängeln, indem sie das Addon für Firefox deaktiviert haben. Mach ich den Edge halt auf, clippe das was ich brauche und mach den Edge wieder zu und im Firefox weiter. ist aber umständlich.
