• (2024-08-08) Jeff: Unreliable, continually having to reset, enter master password, send push, etc. If I had the time to offer a step-by-step, case-by-case synopsis, I would but am weary of those that produce/market software like this not doing their own QA/testing and fixing it, instead of having the consumer do the leg work, Get it together Edge.

• (2023-08-07) Manganiello,: Latest Passwordstate 9.7 - Build 9786 breaks password fill capabilities via the Microsoft Edge Passwordstate browser extension.
• (2022-02-08) Mark: Bugs, after turning off autofill, it continues to overwrite with my email address anything that looks like a username field on forms. Needed to refresh a login page (with saved credentials) a couple of times following authenticating on the Passwordstate server before the extension would offer the stored names/passwords for a site if my Passwordstate session timed out. If it doesn't fill or save your name/pass on a website, Press F12 to open DevTools, click the Inspect button (the mouse arrow) or Ctrl+Shift+C and click the username or password field on the form. You can get the ID and update the 'browser form fields' in your Passwordstate entry so it recognizes them.
• (2020-10-08) Smith,: The attempt is pretty good, but still seems too flakey to rely on. The extension constantly claims it cannot see my Passwordstate session, requiring me to switch tabs and refresh my Passwordstate page to get the extension to recognize it. In addition, I find it is constantly unable to fill out fields in websites (at least sites I visit personally). Compared to other password manager browser extensions, if I have a set of credentials I want to use I can't simply search from the browser extension and copy/paste directly from there, I have to manually switch to my Passwordstate tab, find the credentials, and then copy and paste from there which adds arguably too much time to the process of logging into a site. I'd like to see some of these things improved in future releases.
• (2020-05-21) Howe,: The most recent version of the extension is working great, without any of the minor issues I saw in the past. For example, I used to have to log in to the Passwordstate website before the extension would work. Now, the extension works immediately after I open the browser.
• (2020-04-03) Dela: Constant issues of showing that you have a login for a site you are on, and then seconds later saying you don't so it won't so you end up having to go copy paste it from the web interface anyway.
