(2023-06-20) David: these permissions are absurd and a major privacy violation. Why should it read and change my Google data? Does what it says it does, but would be better if it had the option to lock the browser on start-up by default. At present, one must lock the browser then close Edge.

If set correctly, it will pick up right where you left off when it logs you back on, so don't worry because it works flawlessly and the Dark Mode for the applet is a really sweet bonus to its user friendly look and feel, and with your browser virtually locked down from internal and external intrusion, your password access is limited to only you when you're actually sitting at the computer using the browser, which protects you from unwanted friendly fire from anyone not considered a security risk to your desktop 2-Step authentication app (Like: AUTHY)...
