I personally don't shop at any of the stores in the rewards center, so I cash the points in on gifts for family. The concept of Surf has been proven, but making users enter giveaways for a chacne to win the gift cards they actually want is not a move that entices users to keep recommending the platform. That being said, it's a no brainer to install it and rack up the points in the background.
• (2023-06-11) Trexdino121: It was okay, I joined and got at least 2 gift cards, there was the problem of them constantly being all out and having to watch for the next time it was available. Then they made it even worse by making them giveaways, not a good call imo.

However, you don't understand we don't want discounts to stores no one shops at, we want gift cards. Heck, we've been asking about PayPal too that's can't be difficult other sites have no issues with it. But you guys no longer care. I deleted it but reinstalled to see if you listened you didn't so I'm uninstalling again
• (2023-04-24) Mitch Orchard: Unfortunately they've recently removed the carrot on the stick and there is now little benefit of using this extension. The available rewards are rather useless; ex. 10% off if you spend $50 on products you've never heard of. The one reward that was worthwhile was $10 Amazon gift cards for 2000 points. Now you have to spend 100 points to enter a draw to have a *chance* at winning a gift card. There is no longer an option to use reward points to get a decent gift card. They claim it's so everyone has an equal opportunity to get a gift card but really it's just a way for users to burn through points without getting anything in return. If it was equitable they would have draws that were free to enter and the winner was able to use the 2000 points to get the gift card. They sell our data for a profit and now you only have a slight chance of getting rewarded for it.

Appear it be 5 visa gift cards instead of amazon etc... and it will cost you 5000 points to enter them all or 1000 for just one for a chance and they removed the guarantee. Most thing on the point store I don't even use or I don't even live in a city or town that has a store to use some of the stuff. Most people only use the app for gift cards and they took out the guarantee and made it random. It take you many years before you can even buy a console and the next one will be out with the point reductions. Guess what, they also removed the consoles also. I would recommend people to spread the word how this app became a scamming app and a ripoff. Also, there are online stores you can pay people to live a review or a 5 star rating. You can only really trust the 1 star up to maybe 4 stars. Rest appeared to be fake reviews to boost rating . Also, surf appears to be a dead extension now. People who are liking the post one twitter can just be the people who help made surf. They only get about 3 likes and barely any comments to none. Then you have to watch an ugly guy do videos and lie on some topics. Surf is now just as bad Facebook and other platforms that sell data, because the rewards are not worth buying and now a gamble for a gift card. So basically you are not being rewarded for your data anymore.

• (2023-04-14) sbed ro: It was a four star before their recent changes, but now is one star. After the recent update, you could only get gift cards in giveaways. You have to gamble away all of your points in hopes of winning a gift card. Before this update, you could redeem a guaranteed $10 gift card for 2000 points without any luck involved. It was out of stock most of the time, but you could still redeem one once in a while if its in stock. This update has ruined the extension, none of the other redeemable rewards interest me and most others. They took down the discord server to suppress backlash for this update which is absolutely absurd. Will not be using anymore.
• (2023-03-02) Peter Venn: Its easy enough to generate points, but a lack of rewards makes this a con. I wrote to the company siting this only to be told that it wouldn't be economically viable to pay all users. I uninstalled the add-on after a few months as I should have earned £40 of their sold-out vouchers and I can't see them coughing up the money anytime soon.
• (2023-02-28) L L: complete rip off. they used to have mostly gift cards years ago when i first installed the extension. Now as majority mentioned there are a bunch of useless discounts for stores you probably wont even ever shop at (and those are not even good discounts). Amazon and Visa gift cards always sold out. And they always provide same generic response to negative reviews instead of really addressing those.
• (2023-02-21) David Bruggink: It is clear to me that this extension is a bait and switch or scam. When I first used it I was able to get an Amazon gift card from browsing. Nice, right? Unfortunately they stopped offering any kind of valuable cards for exchange. So at this point they're just taking your data and not giving you anything in return, which is just what the big companies are doing anyway (and that was kinda the whole point of this, wasn't it?). They claim that they are offering new worthwhile rewards, but these are perpetually "Sold out" (Note the quotation marks). I don't believe these are ever available, but in any event, it doesn't matter if they are – the average person will never get access to them, and instead is offered a plethora of off-brand, worthless discounts.

• (2023-01-22) Wayne Lee: Loving it so far. I'm glad its made available for UK. I've recommended it to close friends and family as I know some people have concerns with sharing browsing history. So far I've purchased a few Amazon vouchers and looking forward to getting a Tesco voucher for my dad. I browse much so its a win win :) They host giveaways too which require points to enter. Great idea so I will try to save points also as well as spending.

• (2022-12-01) Anton Greydon: As has been said many times, rewards are mostly for useless brands. The only thing worth anything were the Amazon gift cards and they are never available. I also use the Nielsen Netsite extension and they always have them in both $5 and $10 values. Got 2 already. I've had this app for about three months trying to see if they will ever have anything of value but I don't think they will . Going to remove the extension now and check back in a few months to see if the 6000 points I have can get me anything. If it ever gets better I'll instal it again.

I tried to use rewards to buy some new flip flops, since I don't care about brand loyalty there, only to find the reward had a minimum of $75 purchase for $10 off. Several of the rewards have the same restriction, the few that don't are even worse options usually.

• (2022-10-26) Michael Kautzman: It was good when it started. They had amazon.com gift cards then. The rewards became mostly discounts for businesses I'd never heard of and had no interest in. The extension began having trouble loading, so I'd have to close it and reopen it to access the UI. The extension UI completely stopped loading later. Then their website wouldn't load (adblocker disabled). I disabled Surf. Now their website works again. And... after seeing if anything was fixed before reviewing, the extension started working after several minutes, but with some difficulties (mostly logging in).

They have stopped paying, they'll tag your account as fraudulent, they'll not verify your voip purchased number because they want you to use your real number so they can steal from you (all your information because they record all your browsing history). Don't waste your time with these scammer. They're still owing people a lot. They change their policy (referral point) without letting anyone one. They are liars. If you still don't believe me, you can go ahead and give it a try and see for yourself. If you want me to show you proof, inbox me ([email protected]) and i'll send screenshot to you.

• (2022-03-21) Peter Price: I think these guys have stopped paying now. My amazon gift card is unprocessed since 02nd march almost 20 days are passed and its not processed. Same thing happening to many of my friends. Only few rewards are coming mostly amazon and now play station and xbox gift cards are pending since weeks. many of friends whom i was referred are not getting their gift cards i think they will stop paying eventually in very near future.
