Description from store This extension helps you siphoning through that massive amount of data and distills them to useful bits of information for you to download in CSV format. This is a great tool for generating reports for your business needs. Other existing products rely on Google's Timeline API behind the scene. Due to Google's rate limiting on the API, it may be difficult to get all the data even just across several months. This chrome extension, on the other hand, processes Google's Takeout data, so that it can easily crunch through multiple months worth or even years worth of data in one go. By the way, it also handles timezone. None of your location data goes through a server. Everything is processed locally in your browser to ensure your privacy.

  • (2023-02-25) Jennifer Ward-Batts: This is ****ing AMAZING! So easy to use, and so very useful! If you have been lax on keeping prior mileage logs but you've had Google location data turned on, you can construct those logs very easily with that data! This extension will convert all that location and time/date data into something you can use! AND I note that the annual cost of $60 is just $5 a month, which is less than mileage tracker apps. PLUS, I'm able to convert a Google location file with this extension for both me and my business partner, if I have access to his location data. With a mileage tracker app, they'll charge you for each person being tracked.
  • (2023-02-13) avancuren: This did exactly what I have needed for years. It will save me HOURS of work paging through Google Timeline to record mileage and earn me mileage reimbursement for trips I might otherwise have missed. Certainly worth $10!
  • (2022-09-17) Jeff Brady: Worked exactly as I hoped! Very easy to use. Great solution!
  • (2022-04-02) Samantha Motz: This extension took a job that used to take many hours (calculating business milage for the whole year) and made it possible to complete is less then an hour! Well worth the cost!
  • (2022-03-22) Andrew Suderman: I had been using an extension called Mileage & Timeline Spreadsheets : Taxes/IRS and it is no longer available. This is a great alternative as it does basically the same thing. I get all my Google location data into a simple Excel file.
  • (2022-01-27) Kris Krie: Developer was very responsive and helped fix a quick bug. Product works as intended and extracts mileage information into an excel format which is just what I needed. Thanks!

  • (2023-07-08, v:0.8.0) Scott Meier: Sort By City, State, or Country?
Hi, is it possible to sort all locations by City, State, or Country? For example, if I took a trip to California or France I'd like to be able to sort all locations by that country. Also would be helpful to have a summary of days spent in each city, state, or country. Thanks! Loving the extension.

  • (2022-01-24, v:0.3.0) Jesse Keim: Invalid Date Displayed For All Start and End Times
I have chosen the dates 2021 January 01 to 2021 December 31, and timezone America/NewYork. I left the times as the default times. I then imported the zip file. When the list populates I only have useable data in the columns From, To, Mode, and Distance. Start Time and End Time display invalid dates for all entries. The From and To display only the Street and house number, not city and zipcode. The bigger issue is none of the rows display any date whatsoever. I will try to contact on Github as well. I see a few people had the same issue on there. I'll create an account and send this message there. Thank you.

Hi, I just downloaded your timeline and mileage extension for Chrome. Following your instructions, I first downloaded takeout zip file from Google, then entered date range of 01/06/2020 - 11/24/2021. Pages and pages of data, but only 2 pages will print. Help, please?
