Accent Press is a simple Chrome Extension that allows you to easily write accents.

To type accents, simply hold the corresponding key on your keyboard. For example, to type è, hold the "E" key on your keyboard until you reach è. Simple!

- I have the same problem where I get the repeating letters rather than the accented letter. Trying to fill in a field in google translate.

- Super unclear on how to use it. There is no settings menu when I click on the puzzle icon. Since it seems to be a common problem, make a youtube video and link it in the description.

- does not work. its description literally reads: "To type an accent, hold down the physical key on your keyboard (for example, the E key to type é). Type as you would normally, just hold down the accents longer than normal." which of course just yields "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" also does not have a setting to choose the language like it states.
