Sound Booster – Max Volume & Deep Bass

Does its job. Full screen button does not work for videos but F11 solves that.

Overall not bad, but I expected a bigger effect. At maximum volume, the sound is a bit harsh.

Ideal for online calls where it’s usually hard to hear people. With this extension, it’s much better! Just one thing — after adjusting the volume, full-screen mode doesn't always work properly.

This extension is an ADWARE! Specifically it opens up a link (loaderchome.com) every time you launch the browser.

This software is 100% a PUP, this software has been running on my computers for some time, no issues. However, my Chrome recently is filled with AdBlock Max popups, and all the browsers in common, is this software. I think the software developer has been hacked.

Seems this extension has started spamming ads for an adblocker in your browser. Started happening March 21st and the only one of my extensions that updated on that day was this one. So if you've started seeing AdBlock Max ads showing in your browser, this is the likely culprit

I'm using it for Youtube. It's still not very loud.

Injects into Google search results and inspect element shows its always loading in some js on every website, even if the plugin is dormant.

Seems to interfere with normal Google search results to show its own preferred entries.

Malicious redirects for no reason for adware. Antivirus flags something each time I do a search with it enabled, and blocks me going to the website (why did you uninstall website) when I remove it. I wouldn't trust it. Does what it says, but also tries to do more.

Works great for blasting hardcore metal

oi this app is really good bc whenever i'm on class i can access youtube and put my class volume to 10 :) but yea i sometimes just put things on 600 it is a great app no issues but i wish you can lower it more down other than 10 but other than that its awesome and i love it.

This is a great extension. It is really useful when gaming, due to the fact that most of my games are quite loud, I can turn up the volume on calls. I know this is likely how your extension works, however one thing I would say is if you have a tab with edited volume, it will display a notification on the tab that states that the content is being shared. I don't really have a problem with this, but it doesn't go away if you reset the volume. Overall, great extension, would, and already have, recommended.

when youtubes audio aint loud enough use it especially for music god im spazzing just thinking ab it mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Extremely useful for sites that are obnoxiously loud and don't have a volume, my only problem with it is having to turn down the volume every time which is fine except when you go to a site and the audio starts immediately and blares in your ear, so my only suggestion would be to make it so that you can make the volume stay at what you put it at the last time you turned it down or up. that's if Google's rules allow you to do so.

I really liked it and it is very handy. But I hear the audio crackling quite frequently after I alter the volume (whether high or low). I don't know if this is a bug or the result of audio distortion.

Application does a good job for me, but lacks a fine tuning feature. It could use an up/down button to raise/lower the amount in smaller increments.

It's amazing! Unlike most the other extensions, this one increases the volume by a lot.

This extension is great for listening to lecture recordings. Having individual recordings allows me to boost the volume of just one tab, so when other sounds come through (messages, notifications, music) they aren't boosted and blow out my eardrums.

5 stars. I use it when a video is quieter than usual so that I don't get blasted when I go to the next normal-volume video. Sometimes this extension is necessary even at 100% system volume because the video is so quiet.nnSuggestion: Sometimes 600% is not enough for really quiet videos. You're using linear scaling, so the increases in volume becomes less meaningful as the volume increases: Going from 100% to 150% is a big deal (a 50% increase), but going from 550% to 600% is basically nothing (a 9% increase). To fix this, perhaps the slider units should represent a doubling in volume (similar to using decibels). So going from 0 to 1 will double the volume. And going from 1 to 2 will double the volume again, resulting in 4x the original volume. I.e. linear_volume u003d 2^value. Negative integer values would halve the video volume. Keep the increment at a tenth (each increment would then be a 7% increase/decrease).

Pretty good. I love to blast music in my headphones with this. It's also useful for a great gaming experience. Highly reccomend.

Even with hearing aids, my hearing is not all that good. Cranked up to the highest volume on my laptop sometimes is still too low. This is the best thing I can imagine for people like me afflicted with hearing loss.

I sleep with music and Oh my gosh it's so helpful! I always pick really nice music, but it's always so quiet. It works perfectly and I love it! Would recommend if you're like me and sleep with music.

I was just looking for a simple volume booster and you just killed that frustrating time looking for a speaker icon within a 6x30+ tiny tab buttons.nnYou should put this in github too, its almost the same as your chrome-extension-starter-kit repo but just for the sake of being it open source.

By far one of the best extension to get,it is safe, easy and useful! I had my mom download this extension two months ago because she kinda has hearing problem going on, and decided to get for myself on my personal laptop. I am satisfied by that i'm willing to donate because *I* want too, thank you developer(s) for such a neat creation!

Good tool, but the only annoying part if I use it I can't go full screen after, only have to close a tab and re-open, but the the volume i back to normal.

I love this extension SO MUCH. Tab by tab, I can customize my volume near effortlessly, which is perfect for productivity. I just wish I would have found it sooner!

Extremely useful extension. The speaker abilities of laptops in general leave something to be desired, especially when it comes to YouTube videos. If I set the volume on my laptop to 100% and the boost to 300% it seems like the perfect setup. No distortion or choppiness in the audio at all. Great job! This is a life-saver. On any chrome using device, you basically have a free audio mixer. Macbooks and chromebooks don't have that, and this pretty much fixes that for chrome. I can now listen to youtube at a wide range of audio volumes, as well as finally turn down my google meet in class so I can listen to it while watching youtube without being completely deaf to it! You are a godsend!
