Amazon sort by Review Count
Description from store

Sort By Review Count for amazon extension lets you sort items by their number of reviews & ratings. Most reviewed are now on top of amazon search

To sort by number of reviews, either click on the extension icon (the yellow star) or use the "Sort by Review Count" button.

NOTE :
#1 Always select a SPECIFIC DEPARTMENT before sorting by review count
#2 Do not "sort by review count" in the "All in One" general department

This extension took me ≈30 min to code.
If you liked it, give me a good rating.

Thank you,

Damn so cool. I used to paste code every time but this extension made it so easy. I just need to search product and then magically it shows best products at top. thank you so much : ))))

I used to search for the code and try to enter it every time, but this extension just made everything so much better and simpler. Works perfectly on the UAE Amazon!
Brett Smith
It works. Just make sure you select a department from the dropdown first

Doesn't work on amazon.in Keeps saying pick category first inspite of selecting the department https://ibb.co/jPvnVGst

Works as advertised. Like the developer states, make sure you choose the "Specific Department" and it just works. Thank you, well done.

Essential sort setting that should have been included by Amazon. Thank you!

Great tool for sorting through the plethora of results when searching for stuff on Amazon.

Good work

The extension works if you want to search the products with the highest number of reviews. However, it doesn't show products with less than 600 reviews and also doesn't allow to filter the other way around - namely, starting with the products with lowest reviews first. The principal it works I guess for what it has been designed - showing only high reviews products, but it didn't help me. I'd definitely try it again if the filter options are improved.

absolutely fantastic, apparently some people can't read notes xD. Thanks for making this

I am not a bot or A.I. This extension works great so far, no complaints. Great job!

One of the most useful plugins!

Doesn't sort. Dev seems to argue with everyone having this issue. I used chrome and tried everything to no avail.
James Grammer
It will only let you sort if you're in the "featured" Amazon sort mode. If you try to sort products by average customer review, you aren't able to use the extension. My goal was to use the amazon sort feature to sort by average customer review, and then kick out the ones that had less than 1,000 reviews. This extension is only half baked.

Amazon sometimes makes it hard to find the department, but when it's available I always use this plugin.

just installed it! seems to work!

A few months ago the extension worked perfectly but idunno at what point in time it stopped working properly

Straightforward, no invasive data permissions. It's 10/10. The only thing I would nitpick would be to turn off the flashing "Pick Category First" banner,. However, it is a useful reminder.

I THINK this works like intended and so far I'm seeing the results I want but it just keeps blinking which is irritating so that's why I'm not giivng 5 stars because it's not exactly easy to understand and I can't figure out what I'm not doing that it keeps blinking at me

It flashes "pick a category first" even though a category is already selected. When I click Sort, it sorts correctly but STILL flashes "pick a category first" which led to believe it wasn't working but it turns out it was. I thought it was broken until I tried another extension that notified me the sorting was already "by reviews". However this extension is showing the sorting as "by Featured" even though it's by reviews.

Does what it says it does. Took me a hot minute to figure out how to get it to work exactly (left-hand side of search results, scroll down to "Department" and pick one. Once I did, gold.

Works great each time! Would have given an extra 5* to the straight shooter dev. Thank you for sharing your work!

great for my needs, good extension

Keeps asking for a review, you can have it.
Chandresh Jaiswar
Love it

it keeps asking to pick a category, and there's no way to find this stupid category. Amazon's navigation is tricky and doesn't let you choose a category easily. The extension should make that easy by providing a link to the main category of the products I'm looking at.

works great

Thank you for providing this. I'm glad it flashes - then I remember that it's there and I can use it!
Kyle Scott
It works, but you have to select a category for it to work well.
Jose Ismael Escamilla
So far I am loving it!
Bhasker Dave
just plain works. Makes it easier to get a real read on a product.
Ava Gates
It does what it says but the button is an annoying flashing button and there's a huge request button to give a 5 star rating that breaks the line in the toolbar. Great functionality, the design could use a lot of work.

Great little addon and makes a welcome addition to Amazon sorting AAA+++

Works but lacks extra functionality and is annoyingly flashing constantly

Appears to be working again, love this extension when it works.

Working for me, BUT only if I have selected a specific category in my search, have pinned the Extension, and click on the icon. I am NOT prompted with a "Sort By: Review Count" option in the drop-down, UNLESS for some reason an Amazon result loads with the old side-bar format.
Harsh Rai Saxena
not working at all tried a lot times just changing the order on listed products no exactly doing the sorting by number of reviews
Layne Dollar
Occasionally glitchy (but that could just be PEBCAK error) but still the best thing since Amazon itself, genuinely and infinitely useful!
plam clam
amazing
Jarred Winn
please fix the add-on!
Alan Paes
amazon has changed the UI format moving the filters from the left side to the top and breaking the extension.
