  • (2023-03-31) Jens G.: I would like to try this extension, but unfortunately our Azure instance is hosted under a custom domain. How can I add custom domains where this extension is enabled?
  • (2022-11-11) Karthick Perumal: It works for existing page but it doesn't work for new pages. So I need to create a page with place holder text and then need to edit it again to get this WYSIWYG editor
  • (2022-10-04) Milan Jaroš: Thank you for your effort! This is very helpful for non-technical people who are not comfortable with editing _Markdown_, even if it has some issues like: * not displaying Mermaid diagrams and images in-place, * bad support for dark theme (e.g. insert link dialog, or switch to Markdown on the bottom), * not showing linked issues (using hash-tags, like #123), * not allowing to tag people (like @Milan) If the Markdown is blocking you from editing the wiki, it is worth to try.
  • (2022-09-09) Johnnie Tolken: Was very excited to see this, but it does not seem to work anymore, it does not activate the new editor when I go to my Azure Wiki Edit page...
  • (2022-05-27) Yogesh Parte: Fabulous! Does work beautifully. Remember to relaunch the chrome browser after installing the plugin!
  • (2022-05-05) MagMinecraft: In general it works like a charm. Thank you for that!
  • (2022-02-08) Daniel Hanke: makes azure devops wiki useable! thanks
  • (2021-11-11) Jason Polis: This makes it easy to edit the azure devlops wiki pages. Also useful for migrating content from Confluence to Azure wiki.

Latest issues

  • (2022-05-05, v:1.0.2) MagMinecraft: "@" mention destroys tables
If there is a "@" mention in a table. The rest of the table gets completely lost. No matter in which mode (WYSIWYG or Markdown). If the Chrome plugin is activated the table is not show anymore from the respective line and not saved.
  • (2022-05-05, v:1.0.2) MagMinecraft: [[_TOC_]] not working
In WYSIWYG mode, the [[_TOC_]] is corrupted. After editing it is not interpreted correctly anymore. Adding it manually again in Markup mode makes it working again. But this is quite annoying. Same issue when mentioning people with @. Some it gets misinterpreted.
  • (2022-01-11, v:1.0.2) Yohann Ciurlik: it doesn't work on custom domain
The extension is not working on custom domains. It is possible to add custom or specific domains for using this extension on customer azure envs ?
  • (2021-11-11, v:1.0.2) Jason Polis: Suggestions: tab location, relative image URLs, saving images to wiki, editing other .md files.
Hi Alexey Mogilny, Thank you very much for this great tool. I've been looking for months. When did you release it ? It would be nice to have the Markdown | WYSIWYG tabs at the top of the page instead of the bottom. The editor displaye images with absolute URLs, but not relative URLs. eg. ![image](myimage.png) won't display in editor, but does display in wiki. Insert Image appears to embed it in the page as base64encoded. Is it possible to save the file into the wiki with a relative URL ? Would it be possible to use this to edit .md files in the azure develop Files area too ? Thanks again, Jason Polis.
