Chrome prevents you from going to a complete full-screen when using any extension manipulating with sound so you can always see the blue rectangle icon in the tab bar (to be aware of audio is being manipulated).
There's no way to bypass it and after all it's a good thing that keeps you safe. However you can improve the situation a bit by pressing F11 (on Windows) or Ctr+Cmd+F (on Mac).

- (2022-03-12) Dustin Fox: This app was great but has since stopped functioning. When I click the icon nothing happens. So this app effectively does NOTHING as of 3/10/2022. Hopefully they get it fixed. i really liked just being able to click the icon and have it raise the volume in steps. Something no single other sound booster has. Until it gets fixed im using the "Nice Sound Booster" which doesnt distort youtube. It has a pop up and a slider though which is annoying. So I will come back and adjust my review should this app ever become functional again.
