• (2023-06-02) Scuhbee Fluff-LeeLufsk: Fantastic extension. One quality of life feature I would REALLY love to see is the option for a filter that removes all messages about subscribes and follows. In a busy stream they flood the chat and as someone watching several months later I couldn't care less about someone who gift subbed back on the day off the stream - I just want to see the wit and lack thereof of the chat.

• (2023-05-05) Hugo Kjellerstedt: Good. Nice to see chat when watching a VOD if the streamer chooses to support it ofc. Sometimes the replay is way off tho. Like whole minutes after. I would love to be able to tamper with the timing of the stream and chat messages.

• (2023-01-04) Emerald Break (Hephaestar): chat replay is a lifesaver, i love it so much :D i watch jerma and not being able to watch his vods with chat makes me feel like im missing half the context and content, so this extensions makes it much more convenient to see their reactions in live time, and it works great too Happs A must-have for anyone wanting the full twitch vod experience.

• (2022-07-23) Seedy: ChatReplay is amazing on supported channels, and I hope that more VOD channels opt into using it. One problem with the extension recently is that there used to be a button below the video that I could click to open ChatReplay, but now it doesn't show up anymore. I have to access the extension from the right click menu, or from my extensions tab. Other than that, the extension is working great!
• (2022-07-12) Brandon Stinnett: It seems very cool to use however I don't believe it works with Youtube Premium. I log out of my account it works, log in with another account it works, but log in to my Youtube Premium account it does not work. I would love to use this since I watch More Teo videos all the time. - (EDIT) - It works now for Youtube Premium accounts, and I can finally pretend like I'm watching a Teo livestream when it was happening.
• (2022-07-12) Ryan Palmer: It doesn't seem to do anything for me. the button is there, but clicking it does nothing on supported videos. Setting the player to theatre mode and clicking it doesn't work either, nor does left clicking it.

• (2022-02-11) Jo Craddy: Unfortunately, I haven't actually had a chance to even see this in action - the button that is supposed to appear for supported videos is nowhere to be found. I've double checked that the video I am watching is on the ChatReplay website indicating the extension should function with it, but there is nothing on YouTube. The extension icon lights up, but clicking on it yields no results.

• (2022-01-28) demon in denim: Works as intended; shows twitch chat next to a supported video. However I have a couple issues: first is an accessibility issue, it is currently not possible to change the font size or enable readable colours, making it hard for me to even see or read the chat without having to put my glasses on. Second issue is: Well not really an issue but it would be great if I could adjust the height and width of the twitch chat so it fits with the video (snapping to edges would be good if this was done).

• (2022-01-26) Croy Hunsucker: Newest update on Jan 25 removed the feature to have chat play alongside the video while actually staying on youtube. Now can only use with a pop out of chat or go to their website where the video is embedded, thus removing features like reading the video description, reading comments, and when your done with the video looking at recommendations on the side.
• (2022-01-21) Samin Latif: Does its job and does it well. The new theater mode update with the splash screen is kind of annoying, especially since it pops up every time you pause the stream, but its a minor issue.

• (2021-12-28) TRIREX: Its very good and does what its supposed to do, but everytime I use this my computer starts lagging when the chat refreshes. This makes it impossible to play any games while watching a stream with this extension on the second monitor. Like the mouse will litereally freeze for half a second everytime the chat updates.

• (2021-11-20) Apo: The button seems to have disappeared from video pages after a recent Chrome/Youtube(?) update. When it was working, it was wonderful! So I'll rate 5 stars. If any devs are reading, I would really love to see a way to maximize video screen space with this extension - a la Twitch's "theater mode" that dedicates about 80% of the screen to the video and about 20% to chat scrolling on the side.

• (2021-10-14) BIGTOAST75: Does what it says, gives you Twitch chat from the VOD on the Youtube stream. For me, Youtube runs smoothly even with my slow internet, but Twitch streaming and VODs take forever to buffer. With this extension I feel more included now as I can experience the chat going ballistic over funny stuff on youtube! :)

• (2021-02-10) Eric: Nothing bad to say, really. Right-clicking the chat button opened the VOD + Chat in theatre mode, and then pushing F11 enables full-screen. (Pushing F or using the full-screen button on YouTube does not work with this extension at the moment). Works as intended, minus the aforementioned full-screen issue. 5 stars. (edited)

• (2021-02-08) Phillip Adjei: Works very well. Only in default view, though imagine that it is limited as to not interfere with Youtube's aspect ratios. Hope to see this expand to other streamers' vods.

Latest issues

• (2021-05-21, v:0.2.3) Robert Russell: Extension doesn't seem to load button on Youtube anymore.
  After refreshing my page today, the button for chat no longer appears - happens in Edge/Firefox/Chrome. No obvious errors seem to be produced in console.
• (2021-03-18, v:0.1.19) Audixas: PC lag when the chat replay is open
  My whole PC begins to stutter and lag whenever I have the chat replay open. It goes away when I close it. Not sure what is causing this issue because I haven't noticed any spikes in CPU, RAM or GPU usage with it enabled.
• (2021-02-27, v:0.1.19) Tommi Gibson: PogChamp
  Noticed that PogChamp isn't showing up in the chat playbacks. Is this intentional or a side effect of Twitch changing the emote's image? Doesn't feel right seeing the words instead of some variation of PogChamp, original or otherwise.
