This extension inserts the Pesticide CSS into the current page, outlining each element to better see placement on the page.

- I think Angela should provide an alternative to this Chrome pesticide extension; the old version was much better.

- This is nothing more than trash now. This used to allow its users to see the div and all necessary info once the users hover on the boxes. But now, not only does that function stop working, but also the background colors make an eyesore to it.

- The key feature Angela advertises doesn't even work: Holding CTRL doesn't show you an annotation withe DIV dimensions or any other annotations. Nothing is happening on local OR hosted websites. Yes, I activated all the toggles. Something is broken.

- The new version is totally unsuable. atlesat you could have made a toggle switch between two different types layouts.

- Used this plugin a lot but the most recent update was a huge downgrade. It ruined this plugin. The beauty of just having the outlines was its simplicity. Thats what made this plugin great, If I wanted crazy colors Id just use the standard dev tools. I will need to find another alternative now.

- For the last 5 years this has been my #1 used extension for CSS troubleshooting. An easy 5/5. I love that it was updated to meet Chrome's extension guidelines but it came with a huge additional change - adding background colors to every element. The background colors make it really hard to see the actual elements of my page. I'm not sure what the intent was with this new change, but it should be an option you can toggle or removed altogether. I will be looking for an alternative that is closer to what Pesticide originally was.

- I found this tool while taking Angela Yu's web development course a couple of years ago. It has been invaluable. Excited to see the update, but I am finding that I cannot turn pesticide off without reloading the page. Also, instead of just colorful lines outlining the structure of the code, there are now background colors which make it tough to see where the "normal" outlines once were. 5 stars for our history together, but please address these issues. Actually uninstalling and re-installing the extension resolved the "cannot turn it off" issue. Background colors remain... This makes it more difficult to see the outlines.
