BetterViewer makes image viewing faster, easier, and more fun.
BetterViewer was designed as a replacement for the image viewing mode built into Chrome-based web browsers.
With BetterViewer you can use various keyboard shortcuts to quickly pan, zoom images, edit and a lot more!

- There are some issues that keep me from otherwise loving this. I assume the "Turn Off" button is suppose to disable the extensions for the current page and just display the image in the tab, but it just shows a blank page. On some sites like discord, it just locks you out of opening images in new tabs entirely and forces you to download them. There's also no additional settings to access from the pinned icon or extension manager. When something goes wrong there's no options for trouble shooting. Redownload the extension seems like your only option. Even something as simple as being able to toggle the extension from the pinned icon would be appreciated. It would make times where it might get in the way a little bit easier. For example, as useful as the dragging feature is when zoomed into a picture, I'm sad that it prevents me from dragging images from the tab into an opened explorer window to download it directly to that folder. That usually saves me a lot of time. I was pleasantly surprised the text extractor had an option for Japanese vertical; most text extractors won't do that. I just wish it was faster. Even something as simple as three characters can take up to...well I don't know. It's still extracting in the ten minutes I spent writing this. English takes a good while too, but it finishes at least. And you need to make sure you're not zoomed into the image, like if it's a large image and you need to zoom in to accurately select a region. Otherwise it kind of breaks, and you'll need to reload the image. So while it has a lot of nice features, I think I'll keep it turned off until the rare occasion that I need them just to keep it from affecting my workflow.

- Open image in new tab and BAM all i could hope for with an image viewer, scroll zoom, editing options, and that's not all folks. Excellent extension, had to try a lot of weak sauce before I found this spicy meatball of awesomeness. bookmarked since reinstalling browser app didn't keep track, better email it to myself so i don't forget "Better" psh! more like BEST VIEWER haha a must have imgus is also recommended

- Sometimes they extract text have some issues, but overall a great extension to have, to quickly rotate, revision or even full edit an image, without having to download the image and put it on a image editor, really great! Loved it!

- -The color picker is a bit buggy I think, it's always on HEXA. If I try to choose the other it reset and I wish it could be easier to use like it will activate when we left-click or something. like normal software. -You cannot change the shortcut. this is a huge thing for me. not that streamlined imo, because I use certain shortcuts across similar software like CSP or PS. -and double-clicking just 100% is a bummer, I wish it switches between 100% and fits the screen. Try to take a look at "Enhanced Image Viewer" for reference, I use that before and I like it. but from time to time I need the color pick and other things from your extension. so if you can "fix my problem" ill give I will appreciate it more.

I do think it's companion youtube video should have a voice describing what is being selected from the menu which turned out to be a right-click and open image in new tab. It all happened so fast and the font was so small it was difficult to see what was being done but if a narrator was describing the steps simultaneously that would make it much easier. Would also be nice to add to the description, "right-click on the image --> open in new tab, if you don't get a tool bar below the image to right click on the blue ball extension icon to and click "this can read and change site data -->" and choose whichever the security option of your preference. Very useful extension! Thank You

- As someone else stated it does not work. The Lazy people in charge of this app do not supply any documentation either so they SUCK at life in general. Starting to think Garbage like this without Documentation should not be allowed to add their trash undocumented extensions to any of the extension manager stores!!!

- I only wish this would work on local files too. It works amazingly well on files opened on the internet, but opening a local file in chrome doesn't trigger the extension, which is a shame.

- Brilliant and very useful, a must have for me by now. Thank you for making this. Weirdly enough, extensions like this that are also polished seem to be quite rare. However, I must say that one thing is missing in my opinion; a "Zoom scroll speed" option because by default I have to scroll a lot with the mouse to zoom in or out and it's a tiny bit annoying.

- It does it's job. Don't really know why is necessary an extension so complex to simply flip, zoom and rotate images in Chrome Canary, but this is the only one that works.
