This is a lightweight extension that allows you to tag users on Hacker News (news.ycombinator.com). You can specify a tag for a user and then that tag will appear next to their username in comments and posts. Additionally, you can store extra data about users inside the tag JSON structure. The extension is fully open source, available on github here: https://github.com/ToneyAlexander/HackerTagger.
