• (2023-05-16) Don Bickley: This whole "AI" thing is absolute trash. For one, the only way to get the extension to work is to actually use the Edge browser and install this extension on Edge, tricking their own platform into thinking that you are using Chrome. This was done by their remote tech directly, and we had to reach out to them via chat because their phone number is basically a scam that doesn't go to anywhere. In addition, you are forced to install a secondary app on your phone to scan the room, and you have to leave your phone, connected to the internet, on and facing you for the entire duration of the exam. The exam is proctored by real people that are clearly low-wage workers in India, so there is nothing automated about this extension or any service required by it. This app is a third-world security violation waiting to happen.
