Description from store Someone's charging $12 a year to redirect you to 12ft.io That's just silly. I wrote this in 4 minutes (I counted) and then a month later I added a context menu in 5 minutes (I counted that too). It's free. Enjoy Comrades. Just click the 12ft Icon when you're on a paywalled page to jump over to 12ft.io and read the content or you can open a link from the right-click menu in 12ft.io in a new tab. NOTE: It seems that the 12ft.io service is no more. Some cool person replicated the service as 1ft.io and this extension now uses that. Pour one out for 12ft.io. :( The name of this extension will remain the same as a memorial to the OG. OLD NOTE: I am not the developer or maintainer of 12ft.io or 1ft.io (the service). I don't know who is, there's no information available about the actual owner/maintainer. I am only the author of this very simple Chrome extension that redirects to that service.

(2024-06-24) FLÁVIO TÉBI: If you want to keep using this extension, you can search on google "How to edit chrome extention" and follow the tutorial from "Superside". It is simple as editing a txt, adding the missing number "2". It is easy.

(2024-02-01) TheKittyGuy: no longer works, but it's not the fault of the extension, rather its the new website. also fun fact: the original wasn't 12 a year to redirect to 12ft, it was 12 a year to optionally support 12ft (it was made by 12ft's developer) and the extension was a (poor) bonus for those who did; anyone can go to 12ft for free still (but it's a javascript removing proxy now, no more paywall bypass. sad)

(2022-05-21) Hunden: Hi, love it. Works perfectly. I have a request tho, the dark/black nature of the logo in the extension toolbar really makes it hard to see. I always catch myself having to actively search for it. Would be cool if you could maybe consider adding a bright outline to the "12" or something so it´s easier and quicker to spot.
