It does not read anything from your configuration nor it tracks your navigation. – You.com is a more effective way to search the web. Imagine Google plus a multifaceted set of results organized by source, choosing the sources with the most relevant results. This helps you decide where to spend your browsing time, especially if you're in a specific context like shopping, news, software coding, finance, health, etc. Be aware that uninstalling this extension will not restore your previous default setting for search. You'll have to go into Chrome settings, in the Search section. It take 10 seconds and I recommend using You.com for a few weeks. You'll be surprised by your efficiency and effectivenes in finding things on the web.

I will not install the extension to use. If I like it, I'll change my default browser search. For the moment, I have not been able to search anything.
