  • (2025-01-31) Christopher Burdick: This extension makes Amazon tolerable to browse; I'm so tired of these sponsored listings and ads. It does run into some problems sometimes like some Amazon pages freeze and don't load or crash, and deactivating the extension makes it work again, so there's room for improvement, but it's still great.
  • (2024-12-16) James G: This does exactly what I was hoping it would do - hides sponsored ads from search results as well as the amazon home page.
  • (2024-12-03) Scott Parsons (Craig): Its been good for me except the last month and some amazon product pages fails to load. The program probably needs an update
  • (2024-09-23) Nathan Poling: does the thing (US user)! thank you!
  • (2024-09-14) Ivor Paul: Doesn't seem to work for amazon.nl which I was hoping to use it for. Sounds like it will work for others. Can users add their own amazon domains?
  • (2024-07-07) Logan Braveheart: whoever made this I want to get you pregnant! I'm a prime user and I have to still see ads!
  • (2024-03-27) William S.: Doesn't work with the new Amazon ads introduced 2024
  • (2024-03-24) Brian Simpson: omg it works. I am very surprised!!!
  • (2024-03-10) Tony Barker: Seems to work on the Australian Amazon where a lot of other similar plugins do not. One issue I have is that it sometimes locks the Amazon tab I'm using, eventually leading to an unresponsive prompt popping up and ultimately needing to force it closed. I usually just jump into Edge rather than Chrome if it's happenning and I need to make something happen in a hurry. When I do, I'm reminded how horrible Amazon is without this plugin!
  • (2024-01-16) Markus Koe: works!

  • (2023-09-17) BosApollo: Was useful until recently. Now Amazon pages won't load properly, if ever, and you have to quit the page. Was nice while it lasted.

  • (2023-06-13) Mitch McD: Works well so far and Brave browser! With the ever growing number of drop shipping and smaller companies on Amazon selling similar, sometimes the same, products, being able to distinguish between those that are actually rated highly and with reliable customer service has never been easier. Thank you devs!

  • (2023-05-01) Jonathan Lambert: Looking for an extension that's not spam, actually removed both ads and sponsored listings, and doesn't threaten to steal your face and sell it to third parties? This appears to be the one (so far, I've just finished testing about 1/2 a dozen in the store, and this one appears to be the only one that removed both sponsored listings AND ads without breaking the site — May, 2023). So, give it a shot, and if it works for you give it a review. Not sponsored. I'm just a user who is sick of being tracked and obliterated with ads. Also, if you want to make youtube better use these extensions: - Unhook - Remove YouTube Recommended Videos - SponsorBlock for YouTube - Skip Sponsorships And then I also use: - AdBlock — best ad blocker - uBlock Origin This combination, and this extension, have "fixed" both youtube and amazon from the absolute steaming pile of garbage the sites have become under corporate management. Now if I could find a way to get amazon spark to die in a fire, I'd be good. Why do all of these companies need to constantly destroy what is good about their platforms?

  • (2022-05-26) Make Name Acceptable Go: Using it with Vivaldi Browser. Seems to work well, probably do a longer review after I've had it for more time. One suggestion: As far as I can tell clicking on the extension's icon doesn't do anything, I'd like it to be a toggle so that I can turn ads on without having to go into manage extensions.

  • (2022-04-15) Jim Schwarzbach: Amazon ads are soooo annoying. They skew search results and you and I - the customers - are the ones that end up paying for them in the long run. My original Amazon Ad Blocker was deemed to have violated the Chrome Extension Store policies and didn't work anymore. I tried another AAB, but it sort of worked at www.amazon, didn't work in smile.amazon. This extension works in both. Ahh - I can shop Amazon in peace again. Thank you developer!
