No network connection? No problem! With Google Docs Offline, you can access Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive without connecting to the internet.
Once installed, simply enable offline access via the settings menu in Google Drive. Alternatively, follow the steps here: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375012

- Google continues to lead the pack in horrible decisions. From the moment they removed the "Don't be evil" from their mission statement they have done as much as possible to further destroy the present and prevent progress in the future of human civilization. - Only added this because apparently I can't right click paste? What on earth would offline editing have to do with that...

- I installed it because if I selected a cell then tried to paste using right clicks a big message came up saying I need to install it and to use CTRL-X, C, C etc. I was actually able to use CTRL-V already but was showing a newbie how to use the right click function. Is this Google's way of getting a hook into your non Chrome browser??

- This is a downgrade. I was able to edit documents offline just fine on my 15 year old computer but for some reason I get a brand new computer and now I need an extension to do something that dinosaur was able to do without it? This is clearly some shady ploy to get more information about users. Shameful. Google has really gone downhill the last few years.

- Locking 25+ year old tech such as the ability to copy paste in a menu is a deplorable business tactic to normalize the parsing of known and standardized services and tech into packages to be later sold to the consumer as "extra" for a subscription. Shameful that one week to the next would require such a change toward regression.

- I have absolutely no idea why the copy-paste functionality cannot be implemented without a browser extension, unless it's about copypasting your data directly into google's servers. I see no reason for this extension to exist beyond that.
