Automatic meeting scheduling is a very popular use cases. Business users chat with each other about the need to have meetings, and discuss about the date, time, participants of the meetings. This agent automatically extract all the related information from the chat history, show that information to users in a popup window, and let users to decide whether to create and send out that meeting invitation. The whole process happens without leaving the chat/messaging app.
The desktop agent works as a frontend, and we have a web service as a backend in the cloud. The backend service receives requests from the frontend, and calls corresponding Google APIs to create new meetings, modify existing meetings, and check the available time.
