Description from store Generate a magic link for your PR and post it on a shared Slack channel, to entice reviewers to pick up your PR faster! ⚡️ WorkerB will notify you when a reviewer visits your PR so you can collaborate to speed things along. 💡 More reviewer action notifications are available when your team members use the extension (when review starts 🏁, on comments 💬, when the review is finished ✅ and more). The average pull request review takes 4 days! (source: study of 26K devs and 733K PRs). When your teammates don't know anything about your PR, it's more likely they'll leave it sitting. The WorkerB Chrome extension gives your team context about your PR so they pick it up and review it faster, which helps you merge faster. With one click you'll have a magic link that displays: 💥 Estimated review time based on PR size, files changed and number of commits and on our analysis of over 733K PRs. 🔥 Custom notes about the related ticket, release and other context your reviewers need ❤️ You can add a gif to your message to get their attention and make things a little more fun 🔒 We do not access your Github or read your source code! WorkerB currently works with GitHub and Slack - ping us if you use other tools Visit our community to learn more: https://workerb.userecho.com Made with 🪄 by developers at linearb.io

With the estimated review time feature, if the PR is quick then I know I can handle it on the spot. If WorkerB is telling me the review is long, then it saves me from getting 10 minutes in and having to context switch away when I don't have the time. It's been great for prioritizing my work!

Latest issues

  • (2023-06-22, v:0.7.16) Esteban Lussich: Plugin no longer connecting to Github
Since yesterday, the Chrome plugin doesn't seem to connect to Github anymore. The WorkerB panel is displayed but the Generate button is no longer available; also the inline badge is not rendered properly.
  • (2023-06-22, v:0.7.16) James Ahlborn: no longer working
it no longer seems to be injecting the badge code into my new prs?
  • (2023-05-24, v:0.7.16) Sophie Hernandez: Sometimes details don't expand in slack
when copying the details to post in slack, sometimes neither the time estimate nor gifs will show up. the former problem kind of defeats the purpose of sharing a WorkerB link, because then we don't even have details of what repo the PR is for.
  • (2022-09-15, v:0.7.13) JS error on PR page
Just found out about this and I'm trying to use it for our team but I'm getting a JS error on my PR page. • I installed the plugin. • I happen to have a PR ready for review. • A box displays on the top right sidebar with a button reading "Generating..." but it never resolves, probably because there's a JS error (see below). • • • I confirmed this by disabling the extension, reloading the PR page, and the error went away. • • • I reenabled the plugin and the error returned. ``` Uncaught (in promise) {data: null, success: false}data: nullsuccess: false[[Prototype]]: Object main.js:2 ```
  • (2022-03-02, v:0.4.2) Daniel Bollom: Gitlab support
Hi - just wondering if there are any plans to support Gitlab at all?
  • (2022-01-24, v:0.2.8) James Ahlborn: it sometimes messes up the review sidebar
there seems to be a timing hole when workerb injects the little display on the github pull request. many times, it seems to entirely replace the whole right hand side bar of the PR. i typically have to force refresh the page a couple of times to get both the workerb display and the rest of the side bar.
  • (2022-01-21, v:0.2.8) Tom Corke: Does the extension work with enterprise hosted GitHub, or only on GitHub.com?
I'm interested in using the extension, but we don't use github.com
