A simple chrome extension that makes it faster to search text using the Brave search engine.
I built this extension because it's time consuming to open a new tab, go to search.brave.com and then type or paste the text I'm searching. That's why I built this extension, to save time.
How to use:
Select any text and then right-click on the selection. You'll see the "Search with Brave" option in the context menu, which when clicked, opens Brave search results in a new tab.
Why to use:
Brave claims their search engine is built on top of an independent index, and doesn't track users, their searches, or their clicks.

- (2022-08-21) Nocturnal Owl Digitalist: If somebody wants to use brave search "https://search.brave.com/" and couldn't add it easily to default search engine, then this is great addon to go with. Using it with opera where adding any other search engine apart from what they provide is difficult. I request dev to improve logo or icon of this addon as it doesn't reflect the actual search engine. I haven't tried on kiwi browser and firefox browsers mobile but if it works there then it is good to use. Anyways, this is simple, easy and useful addon to install on desktop browsers. I hope there is firefox addon for desktop users too? Thanks. Adding a review so that users can see it is genuine addon and used for a couple of months before reviewing it here.
