Fast forward, rewind, navigate chapters, control volume, speed, and more (50+ actions) with an unlimited number of custom mouse controls (hover over different areas of the video and use mouse wheels or buttons) and keyboard shortcuts. Use global keyboard shortcuts to control active video from any app.
Turn on the "Auto Gain" feature to balance sound levels across different videos by making quieter videos louder. One of the audio channels is quieter or missing? Just turn on the "Mono Mix". Use the "High Pass Filter" to make muddy audio with too much bass clearer. If the volume is still too low, there is a "Boost Volume" feature.
Make player controls always visible, hidden, visible only on mouse hover, or show only a minimalist progress bar. Auto-hide them in less than the default 3 seconds. Customize volume and time display and base time on the current playback rate.

Mouse Control
- interact with the video player, shorts player, or miniplayer using any mouse button or wheel
- 50+ actions available, such as:
- seek (units available: second, frame, chapter, %)

- adjust video quality, subtitle's font size, take a video snapshot, save to playlist, show comments in the sidebar, and many more
Video Chapters Navigation
- use the middle, right mouse button, or double click anywhere on the chapter container on the progress bar, and the chapter will start playing from the beginning
Content Filters
- hide watched videos, shorts, upcoming, live, mix, and other video types and sections on various pages
Clean Player
- remove annotations, cards, watermark, end screen, video title, heatmap, ambient mode, buttons, overlays

Shorts Player - Overlay

Shorts Player - Convert Title To A Link To Normal Player
- click on the video title to open short video in the normal video player
Shorts In Normal Player
- shorts will seamlessly open in the normal video player
Autoplay Next Short
- automatically play the next short video when one ends
Loop Shorts
- automatically turn on/off loop (auto-repeat) on current and every new short
Convert Channel Name To Link (available in Chromium-based browsers)
- in the playlist, queue, or related videos, click on the channel name, and the page will open in the new tab after a second or two (this feature might not work in all browsers)
Show Full-Size Thumbnails And Avatars
- Ctrl+Click on any thumbnail or avatar image to show the full-size version
Show Playlist Duration
Video Filter
- adjust the video brightness and contrast (0 - 200%)
Zen Mode
- dim, blur, and grayscale all sections except the video player on watch page
- a section becomes visible on mouse hover, and all sections become visible when you start scrolling down
Replace Mute Button With Volume Level
- show volume level (e.g., 50%) instead of the mute/unmute button in the player
- you can still click on it to mute/unmute
Enable Custom Time Display In Player
- replace the default time display (current time / duration) with a custom one based on a template
Always Visible Volume Bar
Sticky Player
- keep the smaller version of the player always visible while scrolling
- options to not activate the sticky player when the video has ended or while it's paused

Expanded Cinema (Theater) Mode
- expand the player to the full window in cinema mode

Autoplay Switch - Turn Off
- controls the Autoplay switch (the first button in the bottom right corner of the video player)
- it will check the switch when the new video starts and turn it off

Disable Auto Pause
- disable the "Video paused. Continue watching?" feature
Initial Player State
- enables you to stop the player when you open a new video
- separate options for foreground and background tabs
Pause Previous Video
- pause the previous video when another one starts playing
Loop Normal Videos
- automatically turn on loop (auto-repeat) on current and every new normal video
Skip Video Intro / Outro
- start playing the new video from a specified time or chapter to avoid watching repetitive intros
- can be set for individual channels or all videos
Skip Ads
- skip any ad at any time with a mouse or keyboard shortcut (add "Seek to" action, set unit to "%" and value to "100")

- capture the video frame at the current time and resolution, and save it as JPG, PNG, or WebP file

- it works great, but it would be nice if there was an option to add features such as fast forward or rewind by an amount of time of your choosing and have those buttons be present under the progress bar next to the volume button or something similar to what Rumble provides normally. I'd also like to have an option to hide upcoming videos, or currently live videos from showing on my subscriptions list of videos.

- Almost essential to make your experience on YouTube a bit easier. I initially installed it just to get a proper, browser filling screen - but there are so many more options here that take out the extra fluff that you don't care about or don't want to see. Worth it for removing shorts at a bare minimum!

- Won't save settings, so now the controller stays visible all the time, unless I explicitly hide on every video. Not good for OLED monitors.

- Grate app for you tube (YT) and you have so many options to costomized the YT and your watching/vloume to. that i tested and i aprecieted a loot.

- I found a bug try this in home click 1 watch short videos then back to home and pick normal video and there try to use the "Custom Shortcuts" key that u set it wont work i set my arrow back and forward to 3 sec not working need to fix this bug only when viewing shorts then back to normal videos which is not short and try to use a custom key.

- Now it still displays the transcript but as the video plays it does not highlight the current text and clicking on the transcript text no longer advances the video to that point. It has lost all value for me.

- Wow, this extension is simply AMAZING !!! Was looking for just being able to adjust the volume via the mouse wheel and a few other functions but ended up having at least 3 different extensions for those purposes, and some were a bit buggy. Tweaks for YouTube is the Swiss army knife I was looking for. It just works and has so many neat features. It just does everything I need and more. I now have the loudness automatically adjusted with an auto-gain and the embedded compressor. I can enable Mono when needed with a single click. And so many other functions to clean the YouTube player, etc... There is just so many possibilities. Give it a try and you'll be amazed too.

- Finally an extension with a theater mode that actually works. Any chance you could add an option for adjusting subtitle position in X axis too? My youtube setting always puts it on the left... Edit: Seems your extension is already fixing my issue of subs being on the left side haha, it would be cool to be able to pick default language translation for subtitles though, as a feature. Great work.

- I rarely add a review. This one deserves a 5 star review. It supersedes any YouTube addon by a long shot. I was after chapter navigation control when I found out this addon. Bloody brilliant tbh. I have one suggestion though. It would be nicer to have rounded borders for sticky player window. Regardless, I'm recommending this addon personally to my friends.. Best wishes for the developer.. UPDATE: it would be really helpful if you could implement Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+] as options for mouse button click interaction. These are sponsorblock shortcuts for changing community marked chapters..

- I rarely add a review, but this one is great. I had to write a review, because this great plugin didn't get any downloads, popularity or exposure. I was searching an extension for hiding YouTube controls, but didn't find any solution, I only got one named hyde that too only for Chrome. That was not working in Edge. But this works flawlessly in Edge. It even has multiple settings to suit our needs. Many people didn't know that they can hide YouTube controls while playing or forwarding the video. This extension must get popular so that more people can utilize, and benefit from it. Just a small suggestion, add Shortcuts for hiding or showing controls and shortcuts for other settings. Thank you.
