- (2023-09-18) Keller: I'm the author of this extension (and it works great!) but I would also recommend checking out Ephraim Atta-Duncan's Minimal YouTube Extension on the Chrome Web Store. I found it recently and some people might prefer their version to mine, the UI is much cleaner. If you aren't aware, chrome extensions can be installed on edge so you can use either. - (2021-11-25) Hamilton,: I'm putting a four star because I'm usually suspicious whenever I see a whole horde of 5-star reviews. It just seems like that's not possible. Even if it's just one 5-star. If that's the only review, I'm very suspicious. But I feel like this little app needs attention, so I'm going to give it a lot of attention. Just think: 4 stars == 8 stars. Anyway, this thing actually does its job. My YouTube habits have been getting out of hand lately, and this app has pretty much killed most procrastination habits that I used to have on this site. I know it's all about "responsibility" and "controlling yourself," but sometimes... it's just too haaaard. No but really, websites find a way nowadays to cause dopamine hits. So... while my self-control is slowly being destroyed by dopamine, or the "cocaine for my brain," this app is single-handedly saving my grades. It's essentially a prison sentence that my dopamine addicted brain desperately needs. So, thank you devs. You are saving my grades.
- (2021-06-20) Keller: I like it :)
