A extension allows youtube shorts videos to play on a regular page.
The UI of Youtube-shorts is not very well optimized for PCs and has poor functionality.
This extension aims to improve the user experience by displaying short videos in the regular video player.

- Works great! One thing to note, it doesn't block the youtube shorts tab in the top left if the language selected is Japanese. I presume because the extension looks for the text Shorts and not ショーツ

- With the extension on, you can't view replies to comments on YouTube. Dev says it's fixed in version 1.5.5 but apparently it isn't.

- Would be 5 stars, but there's a bug that breaks reply's in comments.

- No option to leave shorts tab in watch history to be able to remove items that got there using mobile clients without such extension. Also, remove "Most relevant" subscriptions block is needed.

- Seems to be doing exactly what I wanted. Simply make shorts disappear so I stop frying my brain and wasting my time.

- Used this for a while, and it does the job well... or it did. Unfortunately rating 1 star as for the last several months there's been a bug that completely breaks comments (specifically you can't expand replies), not even related to shorts as it's even broken on regular videos or text/image posts. Unfortunately makes this plugin unusable for me, if it gets fixed at some point I may reinstall and modify this review.

- Oh thank god this exists. I hate seeing shorts on desktop. The worst is the shorts showing up in recommended videos to the side of a normal video. This is perfect. It's been installed for about 20 seconds but I love it already.

- Worked fine enough until past week. Looks like Chrome is now injecting community posts into the shorts tab, and this extension breaks the ability to view replies to comments under community posts. Also knocking off a star since this extension waits until the video loads, and THEN refreshes into a normal page. It should immediately open in a normal page with no refresh page action occurring.

- Does the job but disables replies in shorts, notifications and posts even when turned off. Will use this when it's fixed because it's the only one that blocks shorts in search and has a button in the shorts window to convert shorts back to regular video.

- I have been using this for a year and forgot YouTube shorts existed until I purposefully tried to search for them and my browser page started bugging when I went to shorts viewer mode hahahahahahahah. Nice! Technically, it's working as intended.

- Good stuff, but right now I had to disable it because with the new youtube UI it fks up the new threaded comment thing. You can't expand any comments with this extension. Hoping for a fix!

- It used to work well, but now it breaks the replies on the comment section of the videos, which means that you cannot see them anymore

- This works at hiding the shorts for me which is great! Youtube is the only social media I have left, and I really enjoy a lot of content on there, but the shorts were taking too much of my time and making me consider deleting/turning away from Youtube as well. That would have been a shame though, because there are some content creators I genuinely enjoy and watch as my primary source of entertainment. This extension has solved my issue, thanks!
