• (2023-05-24) Pramita Akash: When using this, I can't control my volume. It automatically goes to 100%, even if I mute it or lower it. Also, since the migration to Max.com, it's not working at all.
• (2023-05-01) Kristofer Nurmia: Nice to have credit skipping in HBOMax, but have to drop on star since changing the speed of the video playback does not properly work on either of my two computers. Works fine on the Netflix and Hulu extensions, but with this extension the video, audio and subtitles get decoupled and the video jerks around. Works a bit better when using the offered speed rates (like 1.75x), but gets really bad when using the slider to set the speed to my preferred speed of 2x. Using Chrome v110.0.5481.178.

• (2022-08-12) Ole Andre Hoiland: Work as intended, but I keep getting "Thank you page" popping up all the time on all my PC's. It's almost as much as those old spam "viruses". This is the only chrome extension with this issue.

It was not working properly for a few days (I think because the updates HBO did to their system) but they have updated it and it is working as expected. Thank you for this amazing extension.

The Netflix version does not do this.

I have gone into the extensions listing and NO place can I find a "settings" COG or Icon that allows you to "EDIT" any of the settings that they say you can. I went and watched the silly video that they "SHOW" how to use this extension... however it is NOT for this extension... it is for their OTHER app HULU Extended. SOOOO, if there is something that I am missing... Please explain how to operate this extension. Thanks

  Make it work in the spanish language please, latin america is the maximum consumer of hbo max, as well as in portuguese. Only Work in English. We need more like Netflix Extension that can work in any lenguague. Thanks!!

  Please disable the "feature" that opens a tab to tell you to leave a review for the app. If you must leave this questionable UX (studies show that asking for reviews isn't very effective in getting reviews) in the app, please change it to open a tab in the background instead of the foreground. I have been interrupted by this "feature" 4 days in a row, and once it happened while I was leading a meeting and sharing my screen. I certainly was not watching HBOMax at the time. I have never had any issues like this with your Netflix Extended Chrome extension, and it was surprising to have it happen. (I also suspect it will continue to happen even though I have now given the app a review.)

  Hi I just downloaded the HBOmax Extended extension a few days ago, it worked great on initial install, but now doesn't show up at all in the player when I have it turned on. I'm running the latest version of Chrome on Windows 10, can you help?

  I noticed that the skipp button dosen't work, i also read that you only tested for the EN version. Is the reason it's only working for EN because the text of the button change based on country? If so, would it not be plausable to use other ways of identifing the button other then from text?

  I am a little tired and a little irritated at the moment so I will try NOT to take it out on you. However; I am using Google Chrome (as you most likely know) and have tried to use this extension both in HBO MAX as a TAB in a Chrome Browser window, as well as in a "SAVED APP" Chrome Window. That is created when you save a webpage as a Google App, under more tools in the Customization Settings List. Neither of which show this so-called settings' cog or icon that links to the options your video depicts... By the way... the video you have posted FOR the HBO Max extension is NOT for HBO; but for your other app, HULU. I'd appreciate it if you could take a minute and explain what I and maybe other users need to do in order to use this extension. Thank you

  Hi. Great tool to enhance HBO Max. I have only one big issue: the subtitles are displayed too high and to the left, no matter the settings. It is possible to implement and option that doesn't touch the subtitle part at all? I find that the original subtitle selector works just fine ( it also has fonts etc). I have to disable this for now, since that subtitle placement distracts me too much . Thanks.
