The exercise we use is based on resonance frequency breathing (taking approximately 6 breaths/min). When we breathe slowly and deeply, our heart rate patterns (Heart Rate Variability or HRV) can synchronise with our breathing to bring on a feeling of calmness. Just a few deep breaths can help clear your mind and prepare you for the next task at hand.
We don’t expect you to complete the breathing exercise every time you open a new tab. Instead, Tabee is a subtle reminder to be mindful as you go about your browsing.
Breathing exercises have been practised throughout human history for anxiety relief, anger management, mood stabilisation and meditation (Pranayama). It is a beginner friendly method to get actively involved in your health and fitness.
Tabee doesn’t collect any personal data and works even if you’re offline.
