Hold right-click and spin the mouse wheel to zoom toward the cursor. Enjoy the convenience of pinch-to-zoom functionality from touch screens, now available on your desktop.

Many touchpads support pinch-to-zoom in a way that they trigger the built-in page zoom. You can intercept this action by changing the zoom activation key from "RClick" to "Ctrl". This way, you don't need a mouse wheel to use SmoothZoom!

- Doesn't work at all for me. It only works on the smooth zoom page, but any other tab it has no effect. Restarting chrome didn't help. Even on the smooth zoom page, the behavior is NOPTHING like pinch zoom on a trackpad. Trackpad keeps the zoom level, and you can keep interacting with the full page as normal. With this one, even if interaction is enabled, the zoom only stays while the key is active, ex: right click. As soon as you click right click again, ex: you want the context menu, the zoom is reset. Scroll wheel is not usable while zoomed, because it only changes zoom. The view is not scrollable in any direction while zoomed - always follow is stupid and unusable. Again, this is NOTHING like pinch to zoom, which simply zooms and then everything works as normal. Nothing here is normal.

- the mouse follow is a little janky and i wish it was smoother and could use a slider of its own maybe. so i have the cursor off. other than that there is a few test cases on which i use it.

- Works great! Maybe an option for a more localized zoom. like only the thumbnail im hovering over instead of the whole page. that might allow for better definition when zoomed. Still, better than any others I've tried! Thanks

- Really good app. But there is a small issue with mouse i do not want to always follow the cursor option enabled but when i want to zoom i want to adjust the zoomed frame.

- doesnt work not sure why. The test website it pops up with worked fine but in all other websites it doesnt do anything. Anyone know of a fix?

- As expected, my touchpad is so poor it just gonna like Ctrl + Scroll and zoom gui up, thanks to this app my pc can zoom like modern laptop lol

- One of the best extensions I've ever used. To the developer: Please please please add this extension to Firefox aswell. Nothing on there is even close to as useable as SmoothZoom is.

- I must say that this tool is just PERFECT for me!! Some videos on youtube are just too big in full-screen mode on PC monitor, whereas only in full-screen mode that I can watch the video neat and clean. Therefore, there's only one tiny advice is that hope there's a chance to customize the background, or set background to black (right now it's white) while zooming out the screen!

- Almost better than Mouse Pinch-To-Zoom ! (except for the red borders) I wish we could lower even more the "Strength" bar for as much precision. (Always the math flaw that is very rough around the middle zoom and overly precise and slow when getting very far or close) If only it would work like a normal zoom : I hold to change zoom on a page, else it just has to keep the zoom but the scroll is normal! (At least it doesn't interfere with the middle button to move around on the page !) Quick press (Shift probably the best key BTW) to reset zoom, if you want, but that "Hold to zoom" parameter is flawed by design. I don't want to keep holding the key, nor I want to keep changing zoom after I release the key, that should be obvious. My touchpad is broken, I'm looking for the same functions...

- Nice zooming experience and essential for UHD users. It doesn't mess up sizes of components. While the feature is already great enough, can I scroll over the page while zooming like the way done by android phones or touchpads on labtops? The zoom key(?) acts like a toggle key, which means that while zoomed in, scroll action can only control the amount of zoom, so it cannot help scrolling. Appreciate it in advance.

- Great extension, but I'd like to be able to scroll the page while zoomed in - disabling "hold to zoom" is ok for a small amount of text, but if reading something like a Reddit thread, I need to be able to scroll down while zoomed.

The step is also configurable, so it gives the ability to adjust the zoom level with precision. The automatic exit option upon releasing the hotkey is a particularly useful feature. It's a great implementation! Going to make browsing more enjoyable for sure.

- This is WAY better than Mouse Pinch-To-Zoom plugin. This extension doesn't break sites when you zoom too much. However, after I release right mouse button, it returns back.
