Microsoft Power Automate extension
Microsoft Power Automate lets you automate manual processes and tasks on your computer. Install the extension to automate things on the web like scripting, data extraction, testing, filling out forms and more.
The Power Automate recorder utility will convert your steps to a flow. Just browse through your favorite parts of the web application and collect data, fill forms, download files – do all the things you usually do and see a flow getting developed.
This browser extension requires additional software to perform properly. Make sure that you've downloaded and installed Power Automate to your device before continuing.
Note: After a specific date that will be announced officially by the browser group, the browser will no longer support web extensions created by Manifest V2. The specific web extension has embraced the new Manifest V3 and it is compatible with Power Automate version 2.27 or later. In case you desire to install this web extension, please ensure that you have upgraded the Power Automate to a compatible version for automating web scenarios. - This app has a great future if given attention by its developers. It is extremely buggy. UI elements quit working after working for a while, if you can get them to co-operate at all. I have found work arounds for flows and then they crash. It is a frustrating program to run, all UI elements solution offered in the help menu are designed for developers and hard to understand for the common folk. I thought Power Automate was supposed to be easy to use. it needs serious attention. I was excited about it at first, after 2 months of frustration I am at the point of going back to no automation. I have wasted 2 months learning what doesn't work.

- unstable, keeps disassociates with Edge. I struggle with remove/reinstall/ clean RegEdit. once it works, next day it fails for no apparant reason

- I was so excited about the promise of automating a routine task through Power Automate, but I kept getting errors related to this extension. Many support articles and registry edits later, I finally got my flow working---for a time. I restarted and now I'm getting the same errors again, but my previous fixes aren't working any more. So it's time to cut my losses and recognize that Power Automate is a dud, because apparently it cannot communicate with this critical extension.

- Power Automate Desktop is unusable to automate browser flows in Microsoft Edge with this plugin which doesn't work. As Traise stated, we are repeatedly prompted to install the extension even though it is installed and registered in our browser.

- Run JavaScript function on web page doesn't run reliably. Sometimes it just won't run the JavaScript or it runs and doesn't run on the next loop. Still a problem 2025-02-07. The run JavaScript function doesn't work all the time.

- Have been using this extension to automate flows with Power Automate Desktop. No sure why there is low rating reviews, for me this extension works fine.

- HELP!! Does MS know recent Edge Update breaks the Power Automate extension?? Can't run ANY flows in Edge now, have worked on for 5 days, uninstall PA, remove Extension, let PA reinstall it, etc etc. Throws below error in Console viewable in Developer mode: Message port has been disconnected. background.js:1447 Unchecked runtime.lastError: Failed to start native messaging host

- Interesting that everyone that has reviewed gave the lowest possible rating 1 star, but Microsoft shows average review of 2 Stars ??? How is that possible? No wonder this app doesn't function, if the developers of Power Automate have the same skills as the developer that can't even calculate an average. Useless waste of time JUST NOT WORKING,

- Most recent update to Microsoft Edge broke Power Automate Extension. Version 119.0.2151.44 still works. Can't figure out how to downgrade.

- I can't even figure out how to open a window to record my actions. After adding the extension to my toolbar to make it easily accessible, clicking on the icon does not produce an option of opening a recording window and neither does right clicking on the web page. I like the desktop app Power Automate, but web extensions is garbage.
